TF3 Bumblebee Camaro – Click above for high-res image gallery

If there's one thing the paparazzi is good for, it's stalking the likes of Megan Fox. And while we could usually care less about the comings and goings of the Xbox crowd's favorite young starlet, occasionally she wanders into our neck of the interwebs by getting dangerously close to cars like the new Bumblebee Camaro. Fox is currently shooting the next installment of the explosion-rich Transformers saga, and was spotted parading around what appears to be the next iteration of everyone's favorite plucky Autobot.

Judging from the photos, the biggest changes to the car include a new stripe design that carries over onto the roof of the car, as well as a not-so-subtle rear wing. The next Bumblebee looks to retain its concept-car sideview mirrors, though a selection of carbon-fiber aero additions join the changes as well. If you look close, you can spot Autobot badges in all the right places, too.

Is this what the next Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Edition will look like? Given how closely GM is tied into the franchise, it wouldn't surprise us.

Updating the Bumble Bee design is fine, but how about getting a quality script to go with all the high end special effects and costly sets.

@ nova3930 , when i was a kid i liked TF , Ninja Turtles , etc. but the second TF movie is for imbeciles , it's not even for normal kids' intelligence, that's why people complain.

Hey look, its one of those guys who goes into a Michael Bay movie based on a children's cartoon about giant robots beating the crap out of each other, expecting a deep exposition on the meaning of life. Lets hear it for unreasonable expectations!!

@ sparrk: Couldn't agree more. After TF2 I won't be watching any more TF movies.. it was like watching WWE, I could feel my brains leaking out of my ears the longer I watched

        @Poopy

You do realize that was apart of the original Transformers story, right?
Nova: The new "batman" movies have been pretty awesome, and they are based on cheesy comic books. Not sure why the same quality of movie couldn't have been achieved with Transformers, instead of robot piss/fart jokes and 2 hours of GM products ONLY.

Yes Batman had comics too. With actual characters and plots. There was never anywhere near that depth in the TF cartoons. Watch a Batman cartoon then a Transformers one. If you can make it though an entire TF episode you'll see there wasn't much more than robots beating up on each other. TF was never meant to be a dark story. It's a kids movie.(maybe more a big kids movie)

ANOTHER SPAMMING MORON? Are you serious?

Seriously, every post I've seen from you since yesterday has included this "epinion" BS.

The bumblebee edition would probably carry over the stripe pattern, and that wing.. maybe similar wheels.

      couldN'T care less...there I said it.

        @ skablaw

        thank you! my thoughts exacly

Seriously. I hate to say this (well I don't hate to, really), but the Camaro is already starting to look old and I've only seen maybe a dozen of them on the street yet. That doesn't bode well for its longevity in this configuration. By contrast, every time I see a 2010 Mustang, I think "that is a car I would pass down to my children." Style over substance can't delay the inevitable, GM.

Just FYI, there's probably no way that color would ever go on a production car. It requires something like 6 or 8 coats of paint including non-standard primers, takes ~3 weeks and costs nearly $15,000.

The only way I could ever see it was if it was some special ultra high end model done in conjunction with Liginfelter or somebody like that...
yes those are the optional 21's. I like the hood and front facia!
those wheels are definately garbage. everything else looks nice imo, but as others have stated these transformer movies are so bad it's like you don't even care anymore.
I dunno, I love the look of the Camero, but it quickly died off, something about it that irks me the wrong way just can't put my finger on it to what it is exactly.
get the spoiler-wing thing off and then it is cool
      • 5 Years Ago
      me likey.
I love the front fascia and rear intakes!!! Hope to see those additions on future Camaros, or at least as after-market upgrades.

But those "optional" wheels have to be the worst this side of $150 24" DUBs from Pep-Boys...
