Sebastian Vettel explaining a hotlap of the Barcelona GP – Click above to watch video after the jump

The Barcelona GP is less than a week away, and you know what that means: original Red Bull content. This time it's Sebastian Vettel talking us through a flying lap of the 4.6-kilometer Barcelona track, and since he's doing it in German they put Mark Webber on translating duty. Except for Bahrain, the season has so far delivered brilliant action, and with the return to Europe and upgrades slated for a host of teams we see no reason Spain should be the same. Follow the jump to watch Vettel, and does anyone else want that RedBull simulator as much as we do?

"...and with the return to Europe and upgrades slated for a host of teams we see no reason Spain should be the same."

Other than the best turn on this track was also neutered by Hermann Tilke...creator of the Bahrain track. Meh - since they do a lot of testing there, we theoretically could see some mildly daring strategies. And hey, maybe it'll rain.

@Ben - typical FIA clarification that didn't clear up anything was released, RBR seem to have made minor changes, and they didn't win, so everyone's considering it done...for now.

@MachinaDC5 - you should probably check out the 2008 Italian GP.

Now that is a simulator... I want!

That's a great simulator, but the McLaren and Ferrari simulators are said to be even more realistic, with the Ferrari simulator taking up three floors of the building it's in to house all the mechanicals needed to simulate g-forces.

I wouldn't say Vettel is the best driver in the pack. He can't pack fight. He's a great time attack driver ( qualifying ), but does NOT fight back like Alonso, Hamilton, Massa, and Schumacher have been capable of doing.

Alonso has. Alonso also has 2 WDC's. I'm not saying Alonso is the best. I would say that he's the most rounded driver in terms of skills.

Judging by his Practice session 2 times this morning I would say he did a pretty good job on the simulator. 1:19.9 and some change is hauling it pretty good around that place.

      "obviously cheering for Fernando"

      It's funny because it's true. :)
