Chris Shunk, Dan Roth, Chris Paukert and Jonny Lieberman mull over what we just saw at the Beijing Motor Show, the general public's changing opinion of which nations make quality automobiles, General Motors' loan repayment, and Kia's profits. Of course there's the Autoblog Garage and your questions bookending those topics, and we're done at the hour and sixteen minute mark. See you next week!

There was an Autoblog Podcast #177 for this week (I know -- I was actually on it), but a technical snafu with the recording rendered it unpublishable. The podcast returns next week as usual, with a new #177 that will (presumably, hopefully, maybe) feature audio from all the participants.

I googled 'frank bacon' and was unable to discern what you were talking about. If anyone knows let me know, i am strangely interested in this reference.

Jonny, I love when you're on the podcast man, but you *gotta* get a better mic.

"1, 2, thank you.... proper modulation!"

      Lucas.

We called out to Jonny - he was on his cellphone. Besides, Jonny doesn't modulate so much as he uses up all the bits. He's a constant full-scale peak.

Mr Lieberman is our square-wave, and we love him.

@ Alex Nunez: Thank goodness. Looking forward to 177, my podcast mix was just thrown off without it.
