Last podcast with someone from CR he thumped his chest and told us how boring, and unpleasant the Prius is. What a surprise it was to see the magazine on the news stand praise it as one of the best vehicles.

Face it. CR is biased to recommend cars that fir a certain mold. They only survey their readers (unlike JD Powers and others who survey random owners) which creates a certain amount of in-breeding. Jon Linkov is more of a car expert than I am, but everything he writes has to pass through a filter to put it in the “CR voice”. That’s not my opinion, that has been said by them in the past.

Have to say the audio quality sucks but I completely agree with him on the CL!

Yeah the gearing of the CVT in the Montego/500 was abysmal.
Way too tall, but at least is was differentiated between front drive & Haldex. (4% or so)
