Turning an Audi A1 into an S1 – Click above for high-res image gallery. Follow the jump to watch video.

Proficiency is a wonderful thing to see in any category – we can even watch a great lawn bowler do his thing for a minute or two. So, when it's something closer to our interests, like Audis and Photoshopping, we can hang in a little longer. What you see here isn't an Audi S1 - just an A1 made to look like one. Highly sped up, it takes a few minutes to make this happen. It will probably take Audi a little longer, but make no mistake, we hope they're watching. Follow the jump to watch the transformation unfold on video.

      Wow. That's talent.

Hey, don't hate on this guy's Photoshop skills. It's not like Audi does a whole lot to distinguish an A6 from an S6 in real life, either. What he's done is actually very faithful to the company's modus operandi.

Still not excited about the prospect of an S1, though, I'm afraid--not as long as BMW keeps making a correct-wheel-drive 1-Series.

Have to say its impressive now if only Audi would build it and bring it to Canada I would be much happier!

I wasn't particularly impressed with how the A1 looks but this is much sportier looking. I like it!

Huh? They look very similar, aside from the color. Add an S1 badge, switch out the rims, change door trim, voila.

Man, I should've made a video of some of my work a long time ago. I never knew people were this interested in average Photoshop skills.

Be sure to post your video in fast-forward.
Average Photoshop skills look best at 10x speed...

Impressive design. Audi new Mini mate looks cool. Is this a VW chassis?
impressive, but i hate the colour of the A B and C pillar on the A1.
That doesn't impress me. The most drastic change was copying & pasting the rims, which isn't impressive at all.
You should probably blame Audi for that more than the photoshop artist, I'd be surprised if the production model looks much different to this

      Talent! impressive.....

I've always wanted to learn how to be a photoshop baller...and now I know I never will be. That's some serious talent.
