2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD – Click above for high-res image gallery

GMC, the "Professional Grade" truck maker under the General Motors umbrella, isn't finished adding luxe touches to its Heavy Duty series of Sierra pickup trucks. Just yesterday, GMC rolled out a brand-new Denali version of the HD pickem-up truck, but later this year at launch it will be available only as a crew-cab, four-wheel drive, single-rear wheel, three-quarter-ton model.

Before the end of the year, though, GMC will begin spreading the Denali love down its entire line-up of heavy haulers, and PickupTrucks.com is reporting that the dual-rear wheel dually chassis will be included. Naturally, a choice of either the 6.0-liter gasoline-powered V8 or the torque-tastic 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8 will be the biggest choice at the time of purchase, followed by the buyers selection of either black, gray or white. Pricing has not yet been announced.

I believe it's 'dualie' and not 'dually'.

Actually in this case, it should be a dualNALI

I always wondered why GMC only offers basic colors like Black, White, and Silver for their Denali line. You would think someone spending $70,000+ on a vehicle would want more color options, not less.

Not like they are breaking new ground there. Look at similar trim levels from Ford on the Super Duty line (apples to apples since this is for the Sierra HD).

You can get the King Ranch package and it's available only in 5 colors, two of which are white and all are two-tone with a Khaki lower color. Then you move to the Harley Davidson package, that one is available only in Black.

The Ram doesn't have the same issue, but they also only offer the Ram HD in ST or SLT trims, with no comparable Denali or King Ranch trim level. Still though, the majority of their colors are variations of grays and tans, black, white and silver with a blue and a red being the most unique choices.

        @ iijohn88ii:

Not available on the Ram HD as I said. Since we were looking at the Sierra HD I chose the Super Duty and Ram HD as comparison. Apples to apples and all.
