Hennessey MaxBoost 435 Lincoln MKS – Click above for high-res image gallery

Talk about a sleeper. The folks at Hennessey Performance have gotten their hands on a Lincoln MKS fitted with Ford's new EcoBoost V6 engine, and the end result is pretty darn cool.

In its standard form, the twin-turbocharged MKS produces 355 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, but by adding Hennessey's MaxBoost 435 upgrade kit, that very same engine now cranks out a whopping 435 hp and 405 lb-ft. That means the Hennessey MKS is capable of putting down 0-60 times of only 4.5 seconds (that's as quick as a BMW M5) and will run the quarter mile in just 13 seconds at 106 mph.

The MaxBoost 435 package includes a dual cold air induction system, as well as a polished intercooler piping upgrade, engine management software upgrade, and a stainless steel cat-back exhaust. What's more, Hennessey installs all of the equipment itself and backs the package with a one year/12,000 mile warranty. Without any crucial suspension or brake upgrades, we doubt that the MaxBoost MKS will outrun an M5 on the track, but it'll certainly blow the doors off of your Grandfather's Lincoln any day of the week. Hit the jump to see a video of the MaxBoost 435 MKS in action.

I can't wait to do that to the V6 mustang.
      Dang that's gonna be cool!

There is no way that this comes cheap (or even that it works what with Hennessey's reputation)... so for probably about the same amount of money, who the hell would pick this car over something like a CTS-V or even a M5?

The Ford division is doing great, but they are still doing only a 1/2-ass job with Lincoln.

Okay, I'll be the first to say it.

or buy a modular depot tune ( much better company) and only costs a little less than 500. Not even to mention it has run a 12.75.....Hennessey sucks

Similar HP @ 3500 RPM, but magically more torque there? Must be that "new" math. Should have made their testing more consistant.

italy, you remind me of a friend of mine - spent $12,000 on a low-mileage, used, loaded 2004 Nissan Sentra back in 2006 and traded it, and $1,500 a year later for a stripped-down 1989 Nissan 240sx.

Why you'd basically trade ten grand in crap for a car that's 20 years old because it's a high schooler's definition of fast is beyond me. 25,000 mile practically new car for a 175,000 "but the engine was rebuilt 50,000 miles ago and I only have to work on it every weekend for it not to fall apart on the road" is hilarious. What's more hilarious is the guy makes $35,000 with no expenses, and could easily afford a 370z or some crap if he wanted, but he continues to dump more and more into his "sweet sleeper dude."

Some people want piles of junk that can suprise the car next to them at the stop light - others enjoy being able to ride in their car without missing pieces of their door panel, ceiling insulation, etc, not having our backs broken when driving to work due to the "sporty suspension dude" (keyword: NO suspension) and having to dump in as much oil and time in minutes as you spend in cash dollars filling the gas tank each week.

        Idiots, all of them.

@some1 Perhaps the fact that your warranty will be up before you even get your car back in one piece (assuming that happens at all).

Thanks for another worthless Hennessey article, autoblog.

Sorry for the rant, I just hate idiots is all.

Don't go into a post about a LINCOLN and talk about sleeper cars. Come on.

"and backs the package with a one year/12,000 mile warranty."

anyone else see the humor in this?
you gotta love it when ppl, especially american manufacturers or tuners think that all that matters is hp and drag race times lol

of any american car company i'd buy from, it'd definitely be a ford, however, i'd way rather pay the extra money for a nice luxury sleeper car that's fast, luxurious and that can actually drive around corners!! german or japanese, in that order

This on a Ford Flex would be kinda cool.

Hennessey must be happy that he is getting so much publicity.
the MKS isn't as visually offensive as it used to be. too bad hennessey is still a joke.
      I would so rock that.
      Pretty cool.

Hell yeah!! i knew the ecoboost motor had potential. And this is without even touching the turbos. I bet this is just the tip of the iceberg too..

Bet the fuel economy is still decent... best of both worlds, my friends :)

This engine + the Mustang's platform + IRS = one bad ass Mercury Cougar.

"dyno still measuring after the tester lifts off the throttle."

        That's unintended deceleration.

"uh huh, but it still shouldn't curve backwards.. never seen that in a dyno test"

Hennessey is so crooked that, even the dyno shows how crooked the company is.
like Ion said above, I wouldn't push it much higher than stock unless you don't mind shredding the transaxle. I'm sure the engine itself is well capable of 435 hp w/o breaking a sweat.
by the way, that dyno graph does not look good at all... where's the 100HP dissapearing off to? that can't be drivetrain loss.... and why does the dyno graphing go backwards? LOL

no more MS paint dynos plz, and thanx
