Tanner Foust Mulholland drift teaser – Click above to watch the video after the jump

You know those epically cool Ken Block videos where the DC Shoes scion comes up with incredibly creative ways to drift his purpose-built Subaru STI Ford Fiesta? Yeah, we love them too. In fact, we wish there were more clever drift videos out there on the Interwebs, and it looks like we may soon get our wish courtesy of Tanner Foust.

Mr. Autoblog Podcast himself is starting up a new drift series in March and he's trying to get your interest piqued by releasing a tantalizing 18 second teaser of what's to come. Hit the jump to watch Tanner and his rear drive, V8-powered Scion tC slide across your computer screen for the briefest of moments. And don't worry, we've used our considerable pull (read: none) to make sure Tanner mixes in some kick ass slow-mo shots when his Mulholland drift project hits the web next month.

I live like 15 minutes away from Mulholland. Such a dangerous road.

God I hope this thing is not scripted like his Supercars Unleashed Show!
Lemme guess right before he takes off he is gonna say something like
"Time to clean my wheels with Mothers wheel polish" .

I live on Coldwater Canyon less than 2 miles from Mulholland Drive. I enjoy a spirited drive on Mulholland from time to time, but usually at night because you always wind up behind somebody in an SUV or minivan driving 25 mph during the day. They definitely had to have Mulholland closed down to do this. It's funny, and more than coincidental in my opinion, that last week parts of Mulholland were closed, supposedly due to mudslides from all the rain we've had recently. It's more likely that almost bankrupt L.A. County jumped on the opportunity to make some quick cash from Rockstar Energy Drink by selling them exclusive use of Mulholland for the day.

@Paul - Yeah, I know the mudslides are legit. I was joking (OK, I was semi-serious, the best jokes are based on the truth) about L.A. County closing Mulholland for Foust and saying it was because of the mudslides.

I live really close too.....great road. A bit busy on the weekends...but usually I'm up there all alone (CHP have been showing up more and more though.....)

There are better roads in the area, but that part of Mulholland is still great

This was filmed on a section of Mulholland Highway called "the Snake" near Malibu.
