Field notes on the 2010 Chicago Auto Show – Click above for the series

Without doubt we have never come across a more comically true summary of the auto show experience. A nine-panel series on the experience of the Chicago Auto Show by the magnificently named Lunchbreath is so spot on that it's already giving us PTSD about the Geneva Motor Show, and Geneva hasn't even happened yet. From the camera phones to photo profiling to that guy in the Escalade, it's all in there. If you like the panels below, check out his Unsolicited Proposals to Detroit, and the Housewares Trade Show for something completely different.

So funny and so true. I couldn't sit in the new Audi TTS cause there was 3 10 years playing in it for 30 minutes with the parents standing there watching. After reading this, it made me laugh knowing it happens to all us car dudes.

I had to wait for people to go away when I tried to take pictures of the Challenger/Impreza STI.

Speaking of children, I saw some inside a Caddy DTS. Welll.... close. I guess.

The lock to doors to the nice cars at the shows here, plus BMW, Porsche and Mercedes Benz didn't even have booths at this years show.

"Who's getting their picture taken in front of your car?

      Nissan Sentra...absolutely no one"

The new Mazda3...ME! Stereotypes don't work on me... except when I rode/had someone take a picture of me with a Caddy CTS-V. Fine, sue me.
