Video: World's narrowest garage will fit car, and nothing else
The narrowest garage ever - Click above to view the video after the jump
It's a twist on the "Which one came first?" We're not sure whether this guy bought a Fiat Uno because it was the only car that would fit in his garage, or if he bought the garage because he didn't want anything else but his Fiat to fit. Either way, the brick-lined slot redefines the term "close tolerances," and requires the aged driver to do a three-step dance to get out of the car once it's parked safely. If that's what you call that. Follow the jump to see him do his thing. Thanks for the tip, Spyros!

Good thing for the subtitles, otherwise I'd have no idea what he was saying!

I could make it out by reading the numbers and assuming what he was saying by looking at his hand gestures and listening to his tone.

I wasn't even paying attention to the subtitles. The video was hilarious enough on it's own.

This is one of the most entertaining videos I have seen in a while. I posted it to my Facebook for my friends. LOL!

The guy is mumbling really old Flemish, that's why they added Dutch subtitles. Btw he reminds me a of "Beaker" :)

That's a 1st Gen Fiat Panda, not a Yugo.

You beat me to it.
AB, it's a Fiat Panda, not a Yugo. The Yugo was bigger and based on the Fiat 127.

reminds me of the place Jake and Elwood hid their car.
after parking, Jake has to climb out the window and up on the roof to get out......

Reminds me of an apartment I had in Davis, CA. Basically my bookcases, bed, dresser, and desk took up 80% of the actual floor space in my bedroom. I had to take the sliding closet doors out and throw them into the shed out back.
This dude has parking down to a routine. Good for him, making due with what he's got.
And now I want a Panda, just because I think it would almost fit inside my R32.

Did you study engineering at Davis? A yes answer would warm my heart.
I imagine that would get old very quickly.
Geekengineer 9:07PM (1/26/2010)
Dang it, no, I didn't get my BS in mechanical engineering from UC Davis. I went to Oregon State.
And yeah, I personally wouldn't want to park like that day in, day out. Then again... he *does* have a garage.

I guess it beats street parking in the city.
