2010 Monster World Rally Team Ford Fiesta – Click above for high-res image gallery

We know, it's going to be weird watching Ken Block rally in a Ford Fiesta. We're so used to watching him ply his craft in a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Gymkhana and Subaru became synonymous thanks to Ken. After the announcement earlier this month that Block was dropping Subaru for Ford this season, as well as competing on the big stage of WRC for the first time, we knew the day would come when we meet Ken's new ride for the first time, and that day is today.

This is the 2010 Monster World Rally Team Ford Fiesta that Ken will be driving in the Rally America Championship this season as well as the 2010 X-Games. The RAC's first race this season will be the Sno*Drift Rally on January 29-30 in Atlanta, Michigan, and we'll surely be paying close to attention to see how Ken performs in his very first outing with the new Ford. In the meantime, check out a couple shots of his new rally car below, as well as the video after the jump.

So when are they going to put this Fiesta in Dirt 2?
When Dirt 2 becomes Dirt 3...

        Maybe.

Tired of the Subaru cry babies. Get over it already - this Fiesta is awesome! On to bigger and better things.

there is no such thing as a WRX. The fiesta is a toy, the guy is sold. After all, he has bills to pay. Why subaru left him alone in the cold?

Can't wait to see it this weekend. Should be interesting to say the least. Pastrana broke his collar bone a few days ago I heard and Block has a new fancy car. Sno*Drift is going to be great this year! I hope you guys ramp up the rally coverage this year.

Dam you marketing people!!! Now i have a sudden urge for a brand new fiesta. WHATS WRONG WITH ME I HATE FIESTAS!!!

While I support Ken and his new pursuit, I learned little from the video. It's all style over substance! Give us some specs, show us the underside of the car, tell us about the driveline, show us the car in motion! Other than seeing the schedule of events in which he will be participating, I thought the rest was virtually a waste of my time.

Looks like a FWD car...only the front has stone guards...

If you had any doubts about the new ford fiesta I think this should say something.

@Tranny sadly there are people out there like that, It's the reason we are bombarded with Advertisings period, if advertising was not working you better believe corporations would not be spending millions and millions on em.
...you mean not speaking about its debut at IRC Monte Carlo where Fiesta S2000 has won? :)
@tranny: in this context "the new fiesta" most likely means "fiesta S2000" (which is brand new to rallye-sport)
        but feel free to chuckle

I always get a chuckle when people think a custom built race car that cost well over six figures to build will be anything like one you can get at your local car dealer.

Are you going to run out and buy a Camry because the ones in Nascar can circle a track at 180mph?

I like it. I think the wing is a little undersized though.
      That's just awesome.
it looks nice but the Subaru's look better in my eyes this car looks a little wimpy while the Subaru looked like it meant all business i guess im gonna have to get used too this before i like it.
