Future Chrysler models previewed in video – Click above for image gallery

If you plan on visiting the 2010 Detroit Auto Show when it opens to the public, head to the Chrysler display, specifically the area where they've cordoned off the Chrysler Lancia concept. Behind that rebadged Lancia Delta is a large video screen playing a Chrysler promotional video. Nothing special, right? Wrong. The video in question is apparently showing sneak peeks of future Chrysler models. We were too busy asking Chrysler spokespeople why the Lancia was even at the show (to which they offered little insight) to even notice.

While a few different vehicles/concepts are shown in the video, the most obvious and interesting is what could be the next-gen Chrysler 300. From what little we can see of it, the car appears to be a concept version of the next-gen 300 that we may see unveiled in the near future, possibly at the Chicago Auto Show in February or New York Auto Show in April.

While we don't have the video itself, there is some hand-held footage of the Chrysler Lancia concept on YouTube with the video playing on the wall in the background. That's after the jump, but you can also view some screen grabs in the gallery below. Thanks for the tip, Joseph!

Seriously? You're all trying to render a judgement based on a few frames of video of close ups of what MAY or MAY NOT be the new 300? Seriously? Well, AB got what they wanted - lots of page hits!

*Bam!* You hit the nail right on the head, Frank!

Folks are making comments on the story after only reading a page or two of the book.

      Yep, looks like an Audi.

      First Bentley...

      Now Audi...

What will the 300C try to look like next?

It better be good if it wishes to compete with the new Taurus and LaCrosse.

The cluster pic looks very nice, but its the same cluster as the Grand Cherokee (2011 version) with Chrysler lighting. So these shots are doctored to look "artsy" I'd expect the actual car to be less so.

BTW that cluster is going in the Charger, 300, Grand Cherokee and Durango.

I'm sure Chrysler has their reasons for keeping things under wraps, but I really wish they had brought out the new 300 or Charger or something...

I don't see anything special here. New wheels, new grille? Big deal.

I think the new Charger will be shown on a 60 second spot on the SuperBowl. Stay tuned.

If everything should be NEW, how does slapping an Alfa nose on something else fit the bill. An Alfa nose belongs to an Alfa, and something called "Imperial" or "LeBaron" doesn't sound too up-market.

If Chrysler just sticks to same-as design it really will fail; it needs to work outside the box and produce really new product, even if this does mean utilising current cars that are completely unknown in the US. Ford is introducing European cars to the US market and nobody is complaining about that; the opposite. Current Chrysler design is terrible, with the exception of the 300, and that is one reason it is being kept, the other is that it takes time to design new product. If Chrysler does do a mild work-over on the Delta it might find it has a modest hit on its hands for not much investment, and if not, well, nothing much lost.

      Be patient.

for some reason those LED tail lights and the wheels reminded me of the audi r8 v10

As discussed on Jalopnik the other day, some of the photos are of the Chrysler 200C concept from last year. The wheel photo for example. Not that some of those same elements couldn't appear on the new 300. In fact they probably will....

      how Audi-esque
THat Lancia is one ugly MOFO.

Encouraging signs of the new 300 clips.

WHo's that dork who says it's an AUdi ripoff...that's like saying the model looks like Hannibal Lechter.

they stole not one, but two audi trademarks. wow.
So I guess Toyota, Honda, GM and Ford all stole the left side sliding door on the Minivan? I guess GM, Ford and Toyota stole the "Big Rig" pickup truck look? Oh and BTW the 1957 300C had a very large grill, way before Audi.

LEDs are not trademarked by Audi. Nice try.

I dunno what else you're referring to, maybe the big grill? Yeah the current 300 has a big grill. However neither the current car nor this go all the way to the lower fascia like Audis do.
