"15.1 mpg percent improvement"? You mean "15.1 percent mpg improvement", or better yet: "15.1% improvement to mpg". The article itself is clearer.

My doubt about conventional and synthetic oil use became clear. Earlier I used to believe synthetic oil is the best without knowing the actual reason. Using a thin lubricant in cold days was an add to my knowledge. Best source of knowledge specific to a car is the manual provided by manufacturer.
