Let's all agree that the Lexus LF-A is an uncommonly passionate manifestation of Lexus's relentless pursuit. The buzz that's been generated just by show coverage and reviews have made advertising largely unnecessary, but Lexus has gone and created a spot for its supercar anyway. The music for the commercial is apparently by O.N.O, but it doesn't matter, all you'll be digging on is the shriek of that V10 and a few snow-laden powerslides. Hit the jump to see for yourself.

i read somewhere a couple days ago that the LFA beat the Viper ACR's ring time. I read that it was below 7:20 compared to 7:22 for the ACR. Not sure if it's true, but remember the videos of the Race version creaming the ACR even though it was stuck having to play in traffic. Lexus did say the street version is almost the same, except the big wing aero parts, stripped interior, roll cage and slicks. Weight is the same- engine is the same, top speed is probably where i would say it could beat the viper. And faster shift times.

Wow, what a car. Performance aside, the craziest part of the LFA is the fact that it has miniature airbags built into the seat belt. http://dailyderbi.com

        not that impressive.

Despite all its numbers, all its potentials, and its prob gonna be 1 hella of a car, this car just doesnt do it for me. It isnt a great design, too much of that batman mobile theme, too much vents, and that cheap looking spoiler. Even if this becomes one of the best supercar/sportscar/hyper car/ ever made, i wont(even if i had the money) will consider this as one of the best/ most magnificence car ever built. And Lexus needs to cool it down with their sports theme, why would they build a sports verison of the LS, when its the perfect big comfy sedan. It should of been a sportier GS to compete with the Audi S6, n M5

        ^^ totally not agree.

If you two don't like this car, then you need to take your head out of your ass and stop hating on Lexus.

I find it hard to respect the opinion of someone whose comment is so poorly written. No offense, but proof-read.

Not to mention your lack of popularity with the AutoBloggers. Don't worry though, it doesn't mean you're WRONG. Just less right.
        ;D

I see why people like it, it might be powerful.... it sounds powerful, which is one of the things that might make me like it...

But it's ugly... and it's a Lexus... Both are major downsides.

I would rather stick with something I like. Like Audi. I hear they are making a convertible R8... Plus, you can BUY the R8. Isn't there a really limited stock of these (like, 300 or so?) And the asking price is probably outrageous, since it's a Lexus... a glorified Toyota... LOL, Toyota...

The more I hear this car the more I like it. The car is also growing on me.

Anthony, what you think your Audi is ? a glorified VW. -- come on don't hate.
the people that will buy this limited production car, doesn't really care about 400 grand'' they provably don't even read a car magazine ''

So you mean R8, Gallardo, Murcielago, Veyron, and more are a glorified VW? LMAO VW.
Not to mention Ferraris are a glorified Fiat.

People stop bringing up the R8....this car is in another league. Period.

The R8 is great in its own way.....but the LF-A is exquisite super car. The sound alone....the SOUND the freaking SOUND alone of the LF-A is enough make me nut : )

The LFA is sure amazing. The picture don't justify the real ones.
Yes, with all the free press this car is receiving advertising does seem like overkill. Oh, and here's their commercial...for free. Car companies realize the power of the internet and use it well. It's a win/win.

This is all well and good, but I would rather a Supra that looked like this, performed like the GT-R in the $70,000 range, preferably even less if they could do it.
they can't. so we get this. that's been the point all along. Toyota doesn't have the history Nissan has with racing, or the history Audi has with racing, etc etc etc. Will we see a GT-R competitor in the future from Toyota? I sure hope so. But it's going to take them time to join everyone else. The big established car makers don't just pull these things out of their rears overnight.

And if they do what they did with the original LS400, it should be worth the wait. Right?

When that in-car video came out a little while back, the engine sounded nowhere near as awesome as it does in this video. Love'n it more now i think.
wow, that exhaust cackle at the beginning sure sounds wicked. if only its looks matched its sound.

      I want that for christmas
if I got that for Christmas, Megan Fox would be washing it outside and Charlize Theron sitting in the passenger seat naked, caused I'd be having one hell of a dream.
