I'm thankful the Camaro is back in Chevy dealer lots, even though I'm too broke to buy one. Just that they're there is good news to me.

The guys with a massive tubodiesel Chevy truck that towed my friend and I out of the mud we were stuck in, yesterday. His truck would still be buried in the mud if it weren't for them.

I'm thankful for being in a far better situation than I was last year. I have a job now! Hopefully I'm helping the economy rebound in some way. I'm thankful for my mom. And, I'm thankful for Autoblog and other blogs I regularly scan for the great content.

Peace and best wishes to everyone, everywhere.

Perfect list! I honestly agree with every single part of that list (maybe besides "Green Behind the Iron Curtain" cause im not sure what thats really about). I guess you can also give thanks to the age of truely shattering budget performance cars. when you think back a few years, when 0-60 in 5 seconds was really fast for most cars (forget exotics). for 30k you can do 0-60 in 4.7 (370z). You can now do 0-60 in low 4's (possibly 3.9?) for 60k, and take your family with you (CTS-V). 10k more and you get a low 3sec 0-60 car which preforms amazingly (GT-R). Im sure there are plenty more to add to that list. Point is, alot of people take for granted how amazing cars really are. Even the cheapest cars today give you so much. Jump back 20-30 years and see what 60k today (11k in the 70's, 23k in 80's 37k in 90's) will buy you back then.

I'm thankful I'm still employed in the auto industry and my company is turning the corner. My employment allows me to provide for those who depend on me. It also allows me to pay for my internet connection so I can continue to read AB.

      Happy Thanksgiving!

      Unrelated to cars, but...

I am thankful for my toilets where I can do my business without having to leave home.

I am so thankful for Autoblog, especially the Podcast, and even more specifically Dan Roth's contribution to the Podcast. Dan, you absolutely make my week. You add just the right acerbity to the mix, and whatever Chris and Sam might say, I can tell you that you are not alone in the ranks of the automotive Luddites who would gleefully eschew such frivolities as motorized windows and automatic climate control if someone would just wise up and make a domestically-produced Elise-inspired road-going go-kart for ~$20k.

I'm thankful that Autoblog provides great coverage of auto/motorsports news, and that they tolerate my warped sense of humor in comments without banning me.

I'm also thankful that, for the most part, we Americans can still agree to disagree on contentious subjects and remain united as a single people. Thanksgiving is proof of that; it's the quintessential American holiday. (no offense Canadians-- you're Americans too, just not USAns. Consider yourselves a separate and distinct culture within North America. ;-) )

Finally, I'm thankful I can drive and ride the vehicles I want, whenever I want. Good thing I only want the ones I've got. . .

I'm thankful for the 3 best letters in the English alphabet: G, T, and O!
        don't you mean E, V, O.
Hahah when I said 'best letters' I guess I should have said 'my favorite letters'!

Although those mentioned above aren't too shabby...

What about numbers too? Let's not forget the MX-5, too many people dismiss this car for the wrong reasons.
I'm pretty sure you guys are looking for the letters "S", "T", and "I".
