VIDEO: Bewerp Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS actually takes to the road sidewalk
The Bewerp Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS -- Click above to watch the video after the break
Fittingly, it appears that the Bewerp Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS went for a cruise on Halloween night, which would give passers-by the perfect opportunity to ask the driver, "What kind of costume is that?" He could've replied, "I'm dressed up as the driver of the only 600-horsepower, €257,000, four-door convertible designed and built in Holland." Or he tell them the car's name, which is nearly as long.
The $385,000 car in the video sticks to the sidewalks so there aren't any shenanigans, but it's not a bad looker, and we salute the two gents who've made it real. Follow the jump to see the vid. Hat tip to Emile!

Something about this thing I just like... I think it might be that it is like a CLK on drugs... the good Netherlands type of drugs...

Na~ dude this thing looks like any other super cars that never makes it big. And Its too big for a super car. But with some tweaks this will look good.

I feel left out. Everyone is making supercars nowadays, but me. Perhaps, I should build something quickly for an upcoming Springfield car festival. The key ingredient is known - Corvette engine and Brembo brakes. All the rest don't matter much.

pretty dang slick.
possible decapitation risk for the back seat occupants when closing the door? but i bet there is no chance of unwanted acceleration, so still safer than a Camry/ES350

Looks like it has the turning radius of a barge. I guess roadyacht is an appropriate name.
Other than that, this looks like an awesome car! Nice to see one actually driving around.

Now all they need are taillights to go with those headlights and they'll be ready to go!

My classmates Emile and Justin are currently working on the taillights as their pre-thesis semester project. The taillights are beginning to look sweet, the most detailed part of the exterior as it's turning out.

Am I the only one that thinks the manufacturer sounds like onomatopoeia for a belch?

Yeah I like the circular hood and sleek simplicity of it.

The color reminds me of my neighbor's '75 Bricklin. Blech.

Is it just me, or does almost every new supercar look like a Lamborghini?
Maybe I just want a Gallardo Spyder so bad that my mind just *thinks* everything else looks like one...

Yeah Lambo set the standard of what a supercar should look like, Honestly I do not think there is way to make a supercar that do not look somewhat like a Lambo. Engineering wise for a Supercar you need to have it low to the ground, Aerodynamic styling for less drag probably why so many supercars retained somewhat the same body shapes amongst each other..

What a car, looks like you could get 4 people in there. The thing is bigger on the street.

"The $385,000 car in the video sticks to the sidewalks so there aren't any shenanigans"
...except a very expensive sports car driving on a sidewalk...
Yes, you and three of your friends can drive down the sidewalk screaming "You can run, but you can't escape my front bumper... hahahahahaha!"
Aw, heck, it would be more fun than raking leaves, at least.
