SEMA 2009: Blackout Bentley balances the bad

It seems that matte black is the new black this year at SEMA, especially if you broaden if to gray and slip bare carbon fiber into the category. This particular application of said coloring resides on a sinister looking Bentley Continental GT.
Besides the satin paint, it's wearing a Premier 4509 Limited Widebody kit that, to this blogger's eyes at least, might have been a better choice for Bentley's own SuperSports. The interior has a nicely contrasting saddle and black design, with diamond-stitched suede inserts on the seats. It's a very cool looking car, but just as fun is the sign on the booth: "Nutek Wheels -- We make private label wheels... and we speak English!" Not exactly politically correct, but eye-catching to say the least.

Want some naws with that? Fugly. Destroys the smooth clean lines of the GT.

That body kit is horrid. This is how you make a $250,000 car look rice.

While the body kit is overdone, the satin black finish sort of masks that, so it's decent looking. I really don't like those wheels though. For some reason I think Bentleys and rubberband tires don't mix.

Great: a kitsched-out Bentley! Why?

No....just on this car...

A Continental GT is not really a car I would like to see "murked-out". It hides the finesse of the lines, imo.

That paint, on a regular Continental Speed.
This body kit is kind of tacky and a little too much.

What kind of paint is that. I know it matte black but I see some crappy matte black painted car and this one is very high quality. Does anyone have any information about types of this paint, any links. Thanks

I agree with all the comments above to a certain degree, but then again, imagine being at one of the hottest clubs in LA, and you roll up in this thing, throw the keys to the bouncer, and open the door for Megan Fox whos wearing a skimpy top that shows all her tattoos.
It might not be "me", but pretty badass, nonetheless...

The body kit and the gutter guard grill kind of destroy what I *think* they were giong for. The wheels certainly aren't any good either. Looks more at home on an old, "blingy" Escalade than on a Bentley.

Balances the bad? I'd say the bad far outweighs the good here...
