SEMA 2009: Pick your Mustang, any Mustang
Last week we showed you a preview of some of the Mustangs that were going to be at SEMA, and now we can bring you live photos of them from the show floor. Despite the common platform, each of the Mustangs has a unique look and even a unique color. We especially liked the versions from Street Scene Equipment and H&R Springs, although we weren't feeling the gold and black theme on the Mustang built by Ford Vehicle Personalization.
If none of those suit your tastes, you can also pick 3dCarbon's take on the 2010 Mustang, Steeda's new Q-Series Mustang, or the drag-themed pony car from Paul's High Performance. Just browse through the high-res gallery below and pick your favorite.

Not feeling the wing on the H&R one. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

I love the yellow one.

I was going to say that the yellow or should I say 'Bumble Bee Yellow' is probably not a good color for its hints to the Camaro from the Transformers movie.....
Where are the black speed stripes? =P

I didn't think of the Camaro on that one. On the red one with the black hood accents, I thought it looked like a Camaro paint-scheme though. I guess 'cause I knew a guy in high-school who had an old Camaro with that paint-scheme.

What do all these have in common? They all look worse than a box stock GT. How many stick on scoops, spoilers and lower body panels can you add.

exactly what I was thinking... the car looks awesome stock. shoot for something like the camaro that was done for Jay Leno or that dark grey one with the BBS wheels. nice/refined and not gimmicky...

Totally agree. These all look like JC Whitney slap on parts. The only thing I'd change on the normal GT is a fog lamp delete. I don't know why, but I can't stand the huge fog lights in the grille. Just give me a simple grille, and maybe a tail light filler panel. Done and done.

I think I like the Street Scene and Steeda cars the most out of that group.

I always thought they should make a variant of the Mustang that's more in-line with the design language of their other vehicles. Like this:

OK, is everyone ready to move on? Mustang, Camaro, Challenger...crap. This ain't 1970 anymore. Cut your mullet, take the beads off from around your neck and turn off the classic rock. Far better cars out there for the money unless you are all about doing burnouts.

OK, You've convinced me that I don't actually know what I like. But, you are obviously an expert on what I like, so please tell me what I like so I can go buy it.

2 choices.
Nissan 370Z - same price as a Mustang GT.
BMW M3 - used E46 model - nice ones around $25K
there are others.

Okay, I didn't realize that I liked those cars better than the Mustang.

All 3 of those cars have a legend that, that silly Datsin will never have. Euro cars are really expensive, if you want them new and if you want one cheap it has a billion miles on it. The Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger have a fallowing. My grandpa owned a Mustang, my Mom owned 2 Mustangs, and now I own a Mustang. It's a family thing for me. Im sure that there are people here that where brought up sitting in the back of an old Muscle car like I did and can understand the feeling of it. Plus i would much rather own a fun car then a POS eco-box.
