As far as art imitating life goes, it doesn't get much more realistic than Forza 3. But it was only a matter of time before life would in turn imitate art, and here it is: the Audi TT Forza Motorsport Edition.
Launched by Audi in conjunction with Microsoft, the Forza edition TT is being released to coincide with the rollout of the highly anticipated new video game. Of course, it comes with the requisite badging, but the real surprise is the bundled Xbox 360 Elite console, complete with a copy of Forza 3, in the trunk. We've yet to receive official confirmation beyond reports surfacing on overseas gaming sites, but sources suggest a retail price of about $35,000.

why dont they just call it "Forza Motorsport 3 Extreme Audi Collectors Edition" ? this is basically a special edition :P

They should go further a step and make the TT some electronic windshield that you can turn into a large display at the flick of a switch and let you play Forza3 on it, and your car's steering wheel etc suddenly becomes game controllers. :P

if my memory doesn´t fool me, somebody (Rinspeed would be my guess) launched some years ago a car that coud do exacly that, except for the windshield transforming into a giant screen. And it worked with the original Xbox and you played Project Gothan Racing.

I call bullsh1t on this whole post. I haven't heard anything about this from insiders, and the whole thing just doesn't feel like something the higher-ups at AoA would even consider as anything more than a car to look good for press photo shoots at the release party. (Something they do frequently)
... I DO think that some auto journalists may have thought it would have been a good idea after a few hours of open bar... (also something Audi does frequently at it's events..)

Seems like I read somewhere that this is at a Polish dealer???
Anyway, I wouldn't want badging connected to a video game. What happens in a couple of years with Forza Motorsport 4 comes out on the XBOX720? Gaming world moves too fast, cars are around for a long time.
I can't wait until tomorrow to go pick up my copy of Forza 3 and stay up until 3:00 AM playing it.

I can't wait to get my copy of Forza 3 and not be able to play it with my Fanatec raching wheel because even though I ordered it on June 3rd, Fanatec can't deliver it until mid next month!

I get mine at 12:00am tonight and it'll be the last time I walk into a Gamestop. I don't get to play it till I get my xbox back from MS though, but the 12:00 am launch fits into my scheduale.

I really want a ZR1 Corvette in-game, but I'm not going to go into Gamestop to get the special edition. So I hope I can get it some other way.

The ZR-1 and the Scuderia are what did me in, the later was the sole reason I went for the March 2008 DLC. I could careless about the fancy packaging and keychain. I wish I didn't have to go to GameStop though I would've rather went to PlayandTrade but I guess GameStop has money to throw around, I just wish they treated their costumers alot better.

So..... for some form of premium on this TT you get a Xbox360 and the game.. with some other crap. Oh and we can't forget the stickers and keychain?! Very lame indeed.
Now if they slapped on a bodykit, exhaust,intake had some stitching in the seats of the Forza logo then it would be somewhat cool. Or and I know some will think its stupid but why not do up a two-tone job of the Forza colors of grey/orange?
