VIDEO: How can you tell if someone drives a Mini?
Mini Driver vs Non Mini Driver -- Click above to watch video
We really tried to think of what this commercial meant beyond the fact that Mini drivers can get in more parking spaces. Otherwise, it appears that Mini drivers prefer to take the steps, walk on chairs, and send their Jack Russell Terriers on snarky missions. Have a look at the video for yourself after the jump, and let us know what you think.

Would rather go out of her way to appear special in a special assholish kind of way?

Kinda makes me want to buy a jack russell terrier, but not a mini.

they´re not that different. I think one leads to the other.
I don´t have a Jack Russel, but my dog is a Brazillian Terrier, wich is almost the same.

I have an Irish Terrier that would not allow a Mini driver to leave their car and a British Bull Terrier that would bite a Mini's tire not allowing it to leave.

...but Tony, the MINI has runflats. Unfortunately.

I've got a Jack Russel and they are like little evil geniuses, and she would have me killed if I got rid of my EVO for a Mini.

I'd say another way to tell is how well he or she can attract Matt Damon..

Last one should have been "Cooper S Driver."

Most Mini drivers I see are 40 or 50-something mid-lifers craving a lost youth and could never run down a flight of stairs. They'd also be too busy texting nonsense on the iPhone to carry popcorn at all, much less jump a chair.
But hey, if this commercial makes them feel worthwhile, then at least something does.

^ We have a winner! I pretty much entirely see those awesome little cars driven by people over 50, and they rare hit the speed limit.

"Does someone speak MARKETING here?" (J.C. - Top Gear)
Basically this ad is about creating the illusion of a Mini driver's dynamic lifestyle. Of course the reality is different - ads do that! But it seemed to have worked pretty well with people who aren't willing to give up life and get into a boring Nissan Altima or whatever others like driving past the fifties...

+2 on this one!

hahaha
I know a couple who are in their early 20's who bought a mini and it almost fried my brain. Totally unexpected. I do picture most mini owners are you described.

There's a nice blond who drives a Mini in our area.
By the way,
You guys should try one out,
it's big inside, has a very nice sunroof and
it's the cheapest BMW you can get.
In that it's price is low and it drives like a BMW.
