Germany's Senner Tuning Whitelady Z gets alles weiß mit der Nissan 370Z

Live long enough and you'll eventually see everything. Especially if you hang around the tuner scene. Now, we've been to SEMA a few times and we've seen some things -- many of which are fairly awful, if not flat out hurtful. However, we're not saying that the Senner Tuning Whitelady Z is hurtful. Nor is it even close to awful. In fact, as far as a tuned Nissan 370Z goes, Senner's Whitelady is on the mild side of the salsa bar. In fact, we think it looks good and the list of what's changed is short.
You've got some KW coilovers replacing the stock dampers, an Invidia exhaust system with 101 mm pipes releasing an additional 21 horses (for a total of 353 hp, three ponies more than the factory tuner Nismo) and a sport air filter. And, besides the wheels, that's it. Well, those sill-graphics, but really, that's it. So then, why are we acting like the Senner Tuning Whitelady Z is a SEMA-mutant all star? The wheels! You might need to scroll back up and look, but the Where's Waldo? champs amongst you have already noticed that on the driver side the Barracuda Tzunamee racing wheels (9x20 up front, 10x20 out back) are white, and on the passenger side matte black. What in the....? Seriously though, why on earth would you do that? Also, we happen to think that the black pieces look five times better than the white ones.

@ALEXDB9: with normal pads yup... it will make them look "dirty" in 6 months. You can use ceramic pads. They cost a whole lot more, but the dust is not corrosive.

I don't think the wheels are white on the driver side. It looks like very bright reflection.

I'm actually liking the satin cream metallic white they used on the side skirts and front/rear bumpers. They should had just painted the whole thing. The wheels are a matter of personal taste, they aren't bad, they're actually nice but but the cream version would drive me nuts trying to keep it clean. But the focus of this tuning package is the exhaust and coilovers.

I was thinking the same thing as your second comment. For some reason the Euro tuners have mastered the art of branding and the press release and can get blogs etc to post on anything they send out. Meanwhile here with the US tuners, it seems that the crooked Hennessey is the only one that gets his shit covered on a regular basis. Heinous Lambo bodykits get advertised but a company like Heffner or Underground Racing can make and install dozens of in-house-designed Lambo (or viper etc) twin turbo kits (and more!) and never get a mention.

I'm not crazy about the pearlescent white paint, but the wheels are GORGEOUS!
I see all you people hating on them and it reminds me of what's wrong with modern automotive design. The vast majority of people have the aesthetic sensibilities of a demented warthog!
That's why if you look at a Tire Rack or Discount Tire ad, all you see are a thousand slight variations of the same damn thing! Oooo, five spoke mags! How exciting!
It's people like you who have anointed Chip put-a-pinstripe-on-it Foose as a great designer of "custom" vehicles.
Take an art appreciation class or somethin' for God's sake!!
