The development of the E-Wolf e1 - Click above to watch the video after the jump

Together with the introduction of the E-Wolf e1 during the Frankfurt Motor Show, E-Wolf released a video about the development of the unusual vehicle. The video explains how the car was developed to present the maximum sporting spirit or, as the video says, to make the "extreme sports car." DTM pilot Johannes Seidlitz helped out with the e1 project, which resulted in a car that weighs only 500 kg (1102 lb) and can only be driven by drivers who are no heavier than than 70kg (150lbs). The e1 uses a 110kW, quadripolar, liquid-cooled, AC induction motor (150hp) that propels the car to 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in less than five seconds and offers a maximum speed of 230 km/h and maximum torque of 250 Nm (185 lb-ft).
