Lamborghini has been hemming and hawing over the production prospects of the Estoque concept ever since it was unveiled last year at the Paris show. With a front-engine, four-door layout, the family-sized Lambo wouldn't be able to share much with either of the company's current models. But with Porsche and its new Panamera now under the same corporate umbrella – to say nothing of the upcoming Audi A7 and Bugatti Galibier concept – the prospects have never looked better.
As if to lend credence to the increasing amounts of speculation, an intrepid observer snapped the Estoque recently on the streets of Cologne, Germany. Unfortunately, the vehicle in question appears to be a the original concept car, and not a developmental test mule. However, its appearance – with no license plates, mind you – has got people asking a lot of questions. And whatever the answer, it certainly isn't that Lamborghini has killed the project.

Looks like these four door sports car coupes are here to stay and if so, this is the best of them all.
      Gorgeous, evil and mean.

I like it just fine as a car, but as a Lamborghini? Except the lower half of the front fascia, I don't think it bears even a slight resemblance to the Gallardo or Murcielago, and that bothers me. Cohesive design language is important in this segment. When someone drives a Panamera, everyone might say "that's the dumbest thing I've ever seen," but they'll at least know it's a porsche. People who buy Lamborghinis want everyone they pass to know they've just been pwned by the raging Bull, and no one is going to have any idea what this thing is.

Lamborghini doesn't even produce a GT car. How odd to completely skip that segment and go straight for a sedan. I think a Lambo with room for groceries is a great idea in this economy, but they could've put together a car with some family DNA that had two seats in back and a trunk. They didn't have to do this. They'd probably sell a lot more cars competing with the Ferrari 612 than they will these. Oh well. It'll be a great used car value for some Russian oil tycoon.

The Rear end reminds me of the Charger Concept, and also the profile is similar to the "Cab Forward" that the Charger concept used.

nevertheless, its a good looking car. I think 2 people would fit fine in the back seat.'

But I still think they should make this a new Espada, 2+2 and 2 doors, the styling already looks like it could be a 2 door.

This picture looks too good to be an accidental one.... i think it's a leak... and Lambo are about to go Production on it.... i'm for it... since Porsche has the Panamera, Aston the Rapide, why can't the bull have his way? i think it's ridiculous, and for Lamborghini that is what it's all about.... however i would like if they give it another name...

What next, a Lamborghini minivan? The whole concept of Italian exotic sports cars is that you are not supposed to care about space or practicality. And for that privilege of not caring, you pay a king's ransom. If you need a car to carry four people, why shop for a Lamborghini at all?

Yes, I know. The LM 002. And they didn't sell too many. (Supposedly Libyan Colonel Gadaffi bought 1/3 of them.) And the reason was obvious. Those who wanted an SUV wouldn't pay Italian sports car prices for an SUV.
