|Autoblog runs the 2009 Targa Trophy rally... in a Hyundai Genesis Coupe!
Honestly, our team – Team Korean War Machine – had low (to no) hopes going into the Los Angeles leg of the 2009 Targa Trophy. Sixty cars were entered and even though our Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 was packing 306 horsepower, most of the other cars were in the 500-horse range – *gulp.*

We don't mean to brag or anything (well, maybe just a little), but we totally predicted the outcome way in advance of the actual running.

While the reality of the matter is that most Hummers aren't really much worse when it comes to fuel mileage and overall emissions than any other giant SUV, the brand has seemingly been made into the poster child of American excess.
