Infiniti has announced its pricing and options list for the 2010 EX35 lineup this week, and the news is all good. The Japanese luxury brand has mirrored last year's MSRP on all four models, yet spread some additional icing on the cake to sweeten the deal on the 297-horsepower crossover.
The standard rear-drive EX35 rolls with a base price of $33,800 (all prices exclude destination, tax, and fees), while the range-topping EX35 Journey with all-wheel drive starts at $37,400. The automaker hasn't touched the exterior, so the new equipment is all found under the skin. All models now benefit from standard heated outside mirrors, auto on/off headlamps, and a USB connection port for iPod and MP3 players. The EX35 AWD model gains heated front seats, while the EX35 Journey models are fitted with heated front seats and Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity. Models with the Bose Premium Audio package (but without the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation system) pick up a 2GB Music Box.
The option packages now include a new Bose and Around View Monitor package (which includes nav at no additional charge), and the Navigation package has been upgraded with Bluetooth Streaming Audio, XM NavWeather and a Zagat Restaurant Guide. The 2010 Infiniti EX models are currently on sale nationwide. The full press release is after the jump.

PRESS RELEASE:
Infiniti today announced pricing on the 2010 Infiniti EX, which is on sale now at Infiniti retailers nationwide. The EX combines sports car style and performance, the 4-door convenience of a luxury sedan and excellent cargo utility – all wrapped up in a sleek, sculpted, elegant skin. Like every Infiniti, the EX emphasizes exhilarating driving performance, combining an advanced 297-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, standard 5-speed automatic transmission and available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* for the 2010 Infiniti EX are:
EX35 RWD $33,800
EX35 Journey RWD $36,000
EX35 AWD $35,200
EX35 Journey AWD $37,400
Enhancements for 2010 start with revised option package selection and content. In addition to the new Bose® and Around View Monitor Package, which includes an Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with Plasmacluster™ air purification, the Navigation Package has been upgraded with addition of Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, XM NavWeather™ (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Zagat® Restaurant Guide. The Navigation Package is offered at no charge with the Bose® and Around View™ Monitor Package.
Other changes include the addition of heated outside mirrors and auto on/off headlights to the EX, while heated front seats are now standard on EX35 AWD (also standard on Journey models). A standard Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System is added to EX35 Journey models, while EX audio systems have been enhanced with a USB Connection Port for iPod® and other compatible devices (standard on all models) and the addition of a 2GB Music Box® hard drive to the Bose® Premium Audio system (on vehicles without the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation system).
For 2010, EX continues to offer an engaging interior environment with a long list of available features, including standard premium leather-appointed seating and RearView Monitor, and available driver's seat headrest coat hanger, advanced audio systems and power up-folding 2nd row seat.
EX also offers a host of available advanced technologies. The Around View™ Monitor (part of the new Bose® and Around View™ Monitor Package) utilizes four small cameras located front, side and rear to give the driver a "top-down view" of the outside of the vehicle and help reduce blind spots when parking. Other available driving aids include Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range), Distance Control Assist (DCA) and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW).

I am a sinner for laughing.

Looks better than the Lincoln MKX, which is just a trim level on an (ugly) Ford Edge for $10,000 more. Or that lard-ass Enclave.

When are other companies going to realize that adding value is a good move? More capability and features for the same $$$...
not just increasingly more size.
Gee, who would have thunk it.
I am still waiting to see the VK50 or 56 V8 in the G-coupe, with a 6-speed or dual-clutch, though. :D

Looks a bit too much like the late-90's Taurus. Which is far from a compliment, obviously.

Holy smokes. It actually does have similar design features.

I thought they were adding the 3.7L engine with the 7 speed automatic? What happened to that?

I just drove an EX35 from Michigan to South Carolina and back. What a great road trip car. With the adaptive cruise and lane departure prevention...and some amazing seats, I really can't complain. It was wonderful. XM Traffic isn't all it cracked up to be though....

wow, that's confusing. why can't they just have these integrated into the models? I can see the Around-view Package but no Bluetooth standard across the range? at least Acura does something right with their models

having owned a Q45t for several years now, i can vouch for what crazily great cars they are, built like none other. but newly poor, this is the new Infiniti i would most like to own. i love the idea of a luxury hatchback to carry my art around in, and it's not a huge car. i could live the standard rwd model quite nicely. i think it's hot looking too.

read the whole thing, they shaves off material fromthe back of the front sit, so another 1-2 inches of knee room have been added
this is not a mamoth GMT900, but I still don't get why they shortened this in leg room compared to the G35/7

I like this EX35 better than the Audi Q5 (price/features/power and looks). Am I crazy to think so?
The EX35 V6 exhaust note sounds aggressive too when accelerating (just like FX35 or G37)

While it is definitely faster than the Q5 (297hp vs 270hp) I think that the Q5 is a better bang for the buck car because it has lots of features that are standard. I tried comparing the AWD EX35 against the Q5 Prestige and the Q5 has more features that are standard compared to the EX35. I do like both cars though. What sucks about the EX is that it is pretty small as other said. Performance-wise the EX35 has it.

You are crazy. The Q5 wipes the floor with this atrocity all day in the looks department. And take them off-road and you'll see the same.
william lin 5:27PM (9/23/2009)
they should bring the 3.7 liter engine that they have in the euro EX37 and skyline crossover (same car but in japan). I'd trade the freebies for a modern 7 speed auto and the new 3.7 VVEL engine

i think this thing looks great; AWD and 300hp don't hurt either. i would buy it as a family car, if i needed one.

I've been inside (though not on the road) this thing and the interior is really good, though the back seat really is as cramped as everyone says it is. I've seen a bunch of these pop up in my area in the last few days and they look great!
Also, I just realized that the new M looks a lot like a sedan version of the EX. Does anyone agree?
