me too. but ford won't sell it so i'll just find another hatch with equal hp, torque, and hopefully less wait. oh. golf tdi. score. It’s not electric but at least it’s going on sale next month.

What do you mean? Yes Ford will sell you one. The 2010 Focus will have a BEV version in North America. It will be available in early 2011.

@steve, now, this year, before it ends, not 2 years from now. 2011~2012 is the watershed year EVERYONE will be selling electric cars. Ford, Nissan, VW, damn near everyone's focusing on that 2011~2012 period.

Interesting how it only took them two months this awesome looking electric car - but have yet to release one in production.

Interesting? Nope. Predictable when it doesn't have to meet certain budgets needed to sell it in volume? Yup. Apples to oranges man. one off for a tv show vs production car are two entirely different notions. i love this car, the looks, the golf tdi levels of power, decent range, but it's not costing
