Myers Motors teasing new two-seat model, due next week
When we spoke to Myers Motors CEO Dana Myers back in January, he teased us with the idea of a two-seat version of their iconic NMG vehicle. At the time, the word was that the NMG 2 would be unveiled in the spring. That didn't happen. Instead, we just got word that the NMG 2 will make an appearance next Tuesday in Manhattan. For now, the company has a new teaser image (above) of the all-electric vehicle.
Myers told us that the NMG 2 would be have side-by-side seating (see also: the Qui Moto). interestingly, the silhouette in the teaser image appears to show an extended, tandem seat version of the NMG (which was based on the Corbin Sparrow). It's clear that the company will stick with the three-wheeled set-up, keeping the NMG 2 firmly in the motorcycle class and we'll have all the details for you next week.
