Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari – Click above for high-res image gallery

The battle has been raging since time immemorial. From Point A to Point B, which is faster: a big exotic supercar or a nimble li;' hatch? Fiat's two performance divisions, Abarth and Ferrari, ask why you can't have the best of both worlds with the new Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari.

The special-edition 500 packs a 180+hp 1.4-liter 16-valve turbo four, a retuned suspension, paddle-shift transmission, 17-inch rims, Brembo brakes and unique touches in every nook and cranny of the diminutive retro hatchback, from the Sabelt seats and Jaeger instruments to the 430 Scuderia paintjob and carbon fiber everything. It's a package that punches far above its weight, but we're waiting for our invitation to flog it around Fiorano against the new 458 Italia. In the meantime, why not check out the images in the gallery below.

Luigi from the Pixar movie "Cars" would faint if he saw this! Pixar, if you are reading this, put this car in as Luigi's new girlfriend!

Does anyone out there know if they will bring all the Abarth variations to the US when they start selling the 500 here? (next year?)

So far I have only heard they will bring the 500, 500 convertible (different than the soft top? 500C) , 500 wagon (new & unseen), & 500 mini suv (new & unseen)

Will these be available as well?
      500 Abarth
500 Abarth + Esse Esse kit
      500 Abarth 659 Tributo Ferrari

Will there be an Abarth version of the soft top? (500C)

Also, what are the specific differences between this and the Abarth 659 Tributo Ferrari + a 500 Abarth with an Esse Esse kit?

The USA has been promised the Abarth 500. Not sure which Abarth 500 variations we are getting though. They are OEM upgrade kits, so it shouldn't be difficult to bring them all... except maybe the the Assetto Corse.

I must know where to buy this....it at the $30k PP, I will buy one now. I need this car so bad.
I dont understand why a lot of you would pay $30k for this car?
I like the look Abarth gives the 500 and I'm sure this thing pings around the track like a go cart, but I dont understand the salavating coments begging for it at 30k???

I HEARTILY AGREE WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE. BUT HOW ABOUT THE OLD ABARTH DOUBLE BUBBLE TREATMENT TO THE TOP.
