2010 Lexus LS 600h L – Click above to view in high resolution

Following the leaked brochure revealing the entire revised Lexus LS range, a solitary image of the updated LS 600h L has popped up on the internet.

The revisions are fairly minimal, restricted primarily to new bumpers and lights front and rear, turning indicators integrated into the mirror housings and, of course, new wheels. There've been some modifications made to the interior as well, while the hybrid system on the top-of-the-line model shown has been optimized. The hybrid model has also been subtly visually distinguished from the conventional LS 460.

The image appears to confirm that Toyota's luxury division will be unveiling the new model at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show alongside the LF-Ch concept car, so we should be getting official confirmation along with more details and photos in the coming days.

Wow. The haters are out in full force this afternoon!

I think it still looks clean and as classy as the original LS400. Keep up the good, quality work Lexus.

      Looks cheap.

+1 VERY cheap. That chrome strip under the doors is awful. It's on that Ch hatch concept too. Not a good sign of things to come.

Way to go, Lexus. You just proved yourself to be Toyota's Buick.

      *yawn*

      MOAR projectors!

Wait, were they trying to make it more generic? The old one was a bit blah, but I've never managed to confuse it for a Camry, but that's exactly what happened here.

If this car was the 2010 Toyota Cressida then it would look Ok for a Toyota but as the top Lexus and going against the S550 and BMW 7-Series, I can't see this car being as being an aspirational one. Rather it will be the default car bought by affluent seniors in the same way that the Cadillac deVille used to be.

Terrible-looking, and just like a Camry. Wait, I think that's the same thing.
Yuck. Are they trying to make it look more like a Camry/Avalon?

Why does Toyota want its luxury cars to have a design language similar to its mainstream brand. They really must be out of ideas.

Is that a bank of LED's for the headlights???
Lexus has had LED lights in the LS since 2004 (option). It became standard in 2005.

Updated, it's code for 'newly hideous'.

I guess some people think that by making negative posts, they are in someway contributing to the demise of a brand. Or atleast put some dent in the sales.. Or perhaps steer the public to buy the brand that they prefer. They dont realize that they are doing the opposite. These types of pr tactics have only helped Lexus and Toyota.
