Opel adds 130 hp Insignia EcoFlex, 136 g/km of CO2
The reduced output hurts acceleration, increasing the 0-62 mph time from 9.5 to 11.1 seconds, but doesn't provide any assistance at the pump. The mileage on the EU combined cycle for the sedan and hatchback versions remains unchanged at 45.2 mpg (U.S.).
We will be getting the Insignia here in North America next year as a Buick, possibly called Regal. Unfortunately, it appears unlikely that we will get any of the ecoFlex versions. Instead we'll get a hybrid version.
