Officially Official: This is your 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour

2010 Honda Accord Crosstour -- Click above for high-res image gallery
Honda has released two highly brushed up photos of the Accord Crosstour, and we can finally see its snout in full view. As the test car spy shots have migrated from altered Accord wagon to final Crosstour, the car has gotten ever funkier. This picture, though, is the funkiest of all.
We have a feeling it is down to the excess effects, but the Crosstour looks a tad bit ungainly. It's almost as if the front and rear of the car are in a different scale – the grille and front wheel look exceedingly large compared to the tail. Since we've already seen the car in the flesh, except for its nose, we're pretty sure it'll be another mellow piece of Honda kit when it's revealed in 35 days. Until then, feel free to check out the official shots we have in the high-res gallery below. Hat tip to Sean!

You stole my post.

The marketing weasels can come up with any contrived descriptive term they want. It won't change a damn thing. It IS a station wagon, as are all of the other manufacturer's offerings that have this basic design. Be honest and don't be scared.

One really poorly proportioned goofy looking Station Wagon. Ouch this design is painful to look at. They'll probably sell boatloads of them.

Definitely a station wagon. Just like all SUVs and CUVs. They may be 4WD but they're still wagons.

@sanders, @paul: that THING is not a proper wagon. The Venza is much closer, I really just question its excess height, but THIS thing is an off-scale 5-door, and they've abandoned wagon functionality for that silly sloping rear. It looks like I'd have to have at least one of the rear seats folded to get my dog's car carrier in and close the hatch. I can do that in the WRX, if it's a wagon I should be able to get what I regularly need to carry in the cargo area AND have 4 seats available for humans.
There's no doubt that it has more cargo capacity than the sedan, but it's got LOTS of ugly to carry...

Station Over uh cross wagon uh sport crosswagon uh ..dammit. How about ugly?

I can't believe.....that it's the FRONT that I have a problem with! Honda/Acura always ruins decent looking cars with one nasty detail! It's like they are on an ugly grill roll.
Otherwise, I actually like the hatchback look.

Well the back looks cool though. I have a feeling the front end might migrate to the sedan. It's almost time for a refresh for the sedan and coupe.
I think it might look okay slammed on some 22s and the roof painted black.

That's one PAINFUL looking Honda...
fmwso 11:27AM (9/01/2009)
I think it can't get any uglier than this.

What can be uglier than a new Honda? an all brand-new "redesigned" Acura.
daleam 12:01PM (9/01/2009)
That front end looks like it was bastardized from a Fusion.
Green Destiny 12:13PM (9/01/2009)
It's like an ugly AMC Eagle.
