On Friday we brought you our gushing reaction to the $1.8 million Aston Martin One-77. We were able to stick our snouts over, under and inside the vehicle and it's simply bonkers. Bonkers in the very best way possible. Just a reminder -- the carbon fiber frame also doubles as a feeder for the intake plenums. Ridiculous. Almost as cool: the way the 7.3-liter V12 rockets up its rev range. It's something you simply have to hear to understand. Luckily, we found some video of the reveal party that includes the sound and the fury. After the jump, fast forward to about the 5:00 mark. trust us, you won't believe your ears. haha well if you were getting that plate, hopefully it would have gone on an RS4... and what i said makes perfect sense. I feel that way about pretty much all Astons. I am a true car guy, believe me, but could never own one of those and then take it out on public roads, exposing it to spastics, potholes, traffic, etc. They're just too pretty for me to justify putting the car's fate in the hands of other motorists. I suppose one could say the same about any hypercar, but for some reason, I feel that way especially about Astons.

I've been an Aston fan all my life. I've owned two and actually spent part of today shopping for a clean DB7 Vantage. I say that so that y'all know that I'm not just some random kid when I say this:
Holy CRAP is that thing ugly. Look at a DB9, look at a Vanquish, then look at that thing. It's hideous. The proportions make no sense, and the endless air ducts are ridiculous. If Aston gave me one for free I'd eBay it instantly and buy a DB5 or something with the proceeds. Yuck.

Must agree with you on that one. The car is quite an achievement inside and out, but it's wrapped ina pretty unattractive package. If I were going Aston, I'd have a pearl DBS and 1.5 ish million please.

A lot of you might hate this car because of what Aston usually offers. Yeah I know that Aston makes elegant cars that are exotic in that way. This one however is not elegant, its mean, raw, full of awesomeness, sounds like a mad tiger, too bad I will never see one in real life but I hope to see it soon in Top Gear.
