Aston Martin One-77 - Click above image to hear the video

On Friday we brought you our gushing reaction to the $1.8 million Aston Martin One-77. We were able to stick our snouts over, under and inside the vehicle and it's simply bonkers. Bonkers in the very best way possible. Just a reminder -- the carbon fiber frame also doubles as a feeder for the intake plenums. Ridiculous. Almost as cool: the way the 7.3-liter V12 rockets up its rev range. It's something you simply have to hear to understand. Luckily, we found some video of the reveal party that includes the sound and the fury. After the jump, fast forward to about the 5:00 mark. trust us, you won't believe your ears. There's also a second video, so you can check out some more 360-degree shots of the ultimate Aston.

ummmm.. that didn't sound that great to be honest. I'm sure it's a great sounding car but it didn't really come across in that video, thanks a lot autoblog! If you want to hear an amazing sound coming from an Aston watch the Autocar review of the DBS. When he Chris first fires it up.....wow, now that's truly an angel singing.

      The links are dead already.

        Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd they're back.

+1 point for Autoblog. The score is even now.

The camera man needs to learn when and WHEN NOT to use the zoom functionality on the camera.

With that said, the car is amazing.
Anyone else find that to be a little anticlimatic, given all the hoopla that Autoblog is giving this car's engine?
This same idiot spammed same crap on Newsweek also.
      What's with this shmuck?

I need a Jeremy Clarkson review.
You hit the nail on the head. I want to see the review for his colorful metaphors and over the top reactions to the car.
Why? The man may know how to use metaphors but he certainly doesn't know how to drive a car well. He thinks the Caparo T1 understeers for goodness sake. I would not form my opinion based on the impressions of a man who simply can't handle the car

What's with all the freaking spam?

the carbon fiber frame acting as air intake plenum..like an old sube. no electrolytes or lightning strikes for the astin tho, steel is not friendly in such a function.. nice ride.

      oh dear

Link is down....im getting an error
what? then why own it? you are obviously not a true car guy.
        Amazing!

I can predict that the cars of the future will continue to get lower and wider.

The One-77 is beginning to set the bar.

        And it is a beaut.
