The Woodward Dream Cruise is generally considered the province of muscle cars and hot rods. However, the event is open to all comers... and come they do. So that means in addition to the usual assortment of classic machines and muscle cars, we get to see an array of exotics and other assorted high performance machinery.
Ferrari, Aston Martin, De Tomaso, Lotuse – these were are all designed to traverse motorways and canyon roads at elevated velocities. However, when they hit Woodward Ave., speed is not part of the plan in any way, shape or form. Regardless, it's fun to see these machines moving at a pace that lets you actually take in their visual appeal.

You're right, it is a kit. Real-looking Countach replicas are based off an extended Fiero chassis; the one pictured is based off a standard one. It takes considerable welding skill to (safely) extend any chassis, which is why many replica Countaches look squished and shortened compared to the real deal because they are based off an unextended Fiero chassis.

I'm glad i'm not the only one that spotted that. I don't think of Fiero as high performance.

Thanks, just noticed that. Changed the lead pic to something a bit more appropriate.

Hey! Nice car! I've always wanted a Contour SVT, too bad that other car is in the way of the pic (main pic). LOL! Seriously, I love the Contour SVT.

That Jeep in the background of the Viper picture makes me sick... I miss my Jeep. 2 Door... Green... Same fender flares, similar wheels. :(

Who f'd up and put a Prowler in here? That's definitely not "high performance" by any means.
