Aston Martin Rapide interior leaked

A scanned rendering of the Aston Martin Rapide's interior, claimed to be taken from an official brochure, has slid onto the Internet, and judging by the images, occupants will get the full GT experience no matter where they're seated.
Assuming there's room to get comfy, back-seaters should have a fine time of it. Screens in the headrests will entertain while controls on the center tunnel keep the climate in check. We aren't sure what the features in the seatbacks are, but we look forward to finding out.
And in a first for recent Astons, the packaging appears to have left room for a properly capacious trunk. Stay tuned for shots of the real deal from the Frankfurt Motor Show.

twice the money does not automatically mean twice the prestige.....
my old man has the regular quattroporte (not the S) and it drives way better than the Aston Vanquish, which I was lucky enough to drive for a bit back home. Since the rapide's 6 litre V12 is based on the vanquish (I think?), it would probably perform even worse due to the increase in weight.
all aston's besides the DBS and the one77 are well overrated IMO

I love Aston Martin, but if i was going to have one it would have to be a DB9. After all this time, still nothing had beaten the Quattroporte for me. Is the Rapide more expensive? Most certainly. More prestigious? Not in my opinion - price isn't everything.
That said, those are my two favourite brands by a mile, so which ever one 'wins' in desirability is irrelevant, because they still blow the rest of the field away! Shame we won't be seeing the Estoque, i'm not a big Lambo fan, but i like them for what they are and i bet that car would have had some unrivalled presence in person.

I'd have to go with the panamera, too. A turbo would still be about $50k cheaper than the rapide and would no doubt be a much better driver's car. Then again, the rapide does sport more impressive styling.

It looks like every other Aston's, which is a good thing, but is the top a glass roof, or is it just a cut-away to show what the inside looks like?

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the scan. Which judging from the image, the Panamera's interior looks better IMHO.
