Custom cars and B-Movies, they go together like vinegar and baking soda. The results, while momentarily interesting, fizzle out quickly.

We're not really sure what the heck the full version of Accelerator will be about – if indeed there will be one at all – other than some kind of horror intercut with scenes of new and vintage Shelby Mustangs and an Andrew Probert homage "Area 51" car. Any vehicle that can befuddle a speed trap is at least worth a look, though we warn you, you will not get your 1:41 back. Video posted after the jump. Thanks for the tip, Dan!

RE: "New and vintage Shelby Mustangs" -- The "new" one is a V6 convertible with stripes.

I went into that video expecting something along the lines of The Wraith. In the end, this makes The Wraith look like Grand Prix.

Ha! I was going to bring up "The Wraith" but you beat me to it. To call "The Wraith" a B movie would be giving it too much credit.

I think I felt a little piece of myself die over the course of that 101 seconds.

      It hurt.

      A lot.

This is the kind of B-Movie that made drive-ins famous for procreating Generation X.

Uh, don't you mean SyFy?...You know, the lots more sophisticated named channel.
Completely off the main topic: (considering the topic, do you really care..)

SyFy changed their name purely for marketing reasons, as "Sci-Fi" was constantly being confused with the genera rather then the channel itself. This had negitive effects on their content's Nelsons ratings which correlated into lost advertisement revenue. Hence the change to SyFy to differentiate themselves as their own brand.

Hey; At least you learned something from this thread!
