PETA Alert: Fiat underscores eco-friendliness using unique advertising campaign

We've seen some pretty cool advertising in our time, but a new European marketing campaign from Fiat is surely one of the more memorable efforts from an automaker in recent memory. In an effort to underscore the safety of its diminutive 500 – both to its occupants and the animals we share our planet with – the Italian automaker has unleashed a new series of images depicting the retro hatchback in various crash test scenarios.
The interesting part comes from the car's occupants, which includes a panda bear, a walrus (goo goo g'joob) and a couple of penguins. Equally as clever is the tagline, "Engineered for a lower impact on the environment," after which the ad reminds the viewer that Fiat – with 133.7 grams of C02 per kilometer on average – is the brand with the lowest carbon emissions in all of Europe.

Bah, PETA kills more animals than they save. They on average find adopters for about 1 in 300 animals, the rest are "put to sleep".

That's the Humane Society's doing, due to association with the Kennel Club, which is pro-breeder. However, if they could rally their cause and more no-kill shelters would attempt to work with the local Humane Society chapters, they'd put breeders out of business.
Hey, I'm a vegan who's sick of being associated with Peta's attention-seeking antics and fuddled message, but come on man, get your facts right!

How can Autoblog get the spelling of FIAT wrong on such a consistent basis?
FIAT is an acronym: a word formed from the initial letters of the several words in the name, and should be written in all caps, just as with PETA.
Is General Motors written as Gm?
Is International Business Machines written as Ibm?
Autoblog’s reporting would have a lot more credibility if the name FIAT were spelled correctly every so often.

Yes it's an acronym but even Fiat itself doesn't go all caps. Check their website.

Angelo - it's only Americans who spell "Fiat" using its acronym initials, and indeed, the word is technically an acronym.
In Europe, Fiat is primarily referred to as a proper noun, with a capital F and the remainder in small case.

Alfa is an acronym also and no one caps all the letters in it.
