Ken Block + Top Gear + Empty Airport = Good Television

Season 13 of Top Gear is right around the bend, and in addition to an epic competition involving a steam engine, a head-to-head-to-head-to-head drag race with airport vehicles and tests of the Mercedes SL Black, Audi R8 V10, Focus RS, Megane R26.R, BMW Z4 and a face-off between the Jaguar XFR and BMW M5, James May apparently made the trek across the pond to sample Ken Block's Subaru-sliding skills. The combination of Block's driving, an empty runway and Top Gear's often imitated but never duplicated cinematic abilities should make for some stellar TV when the show airs this Sunday. If you've got access to the Beeb, set your DVRs to record or wait for the torrents to hit later that night. In the meantime, we've posted Block's Gymkhama 2 video after the break to whet your appetite.

I like the first one better...this one does have some close calls, but also has some nonsense thrown in for the sake of pretty visuals. Mission accomplished, great editing!

on the Top Gear subject, we need to get a better quality torrents of TG. the size mb size is good, but I would rather have the MB upped/longer download and get twice the quality. Because I watch them over and over again, and would much rather wait the on the download time and have a better end quality. just a side note. enough ranting.

I already have the RSS feed added to utorrent. The torrents are usually thrown up within a couple hours after it airs.

I hope we get to see a lap time with the CTS-V and ZR-1. But I'm not going to hold my breath. It might bruise their egos a little bit.

I'm most interested in Jezza's impression of the Subaru or Ken Block's skills w/ a Subaru. He's notoriously biased to Mitsubishis in the same way he hated on the GT2 over the Lambo in the Semi-truck episode.
