Season 13 of Top Gear is just around the corner, and the crew isn't wasting any opportunity to build buzz before the Sunday, June 21 air date of the first episode. Perhaps in a nod to the BBC's much-publicized pay cuts or the franchise's new children's magazine, the video above doesn't really incorporate Jeremy Clarkson, James May, or Richard Hammond in its promotional footage... or does it? US car shows suck because it's all about not offending sponsors.
US networks never criticize anything...it might affect cash flow...can't have that.
To get a hint, listen to NASCAR drivers...their idiot plugs for their sponsors in every single camera appearance are one of the saddest low points in American racing.
But, at least we have TG to show usd what can be done properly.
