Get your grubby hands on a Bugatti Veyron for just $25k
Not all of us have over a million to spend on a new car, otherwise we'd all be driving Bugatti Veyrons, right? Or at least most of us would. So how about $25,000 – that's a bit closer, right? Well now you can get your hands on a Veyron for just that amount. Unfortunately the twenty-five grand will only get you one day behind the wheel of the super-fast, super-expensive supercar.
Holders Vehicle Contracts, an exotic rental company in England, has got a Veyron on its hands that it's willing to rent out to anyone who can shell out the £16,000 (about $25k). Oh, and did we mention would-be renters will need to put down a $160,000 deposit? That's a little bit steeper than the typical contract down at the your local Hertz, but then that Chevrolet Impala or Ford Mustang convertible isn't going to get you up to 250 miles per hour, now is it?

Veryon is awesome, no doubt, but there is not a car on this earth, nor will there ever be, that is worth $25k a day.

No doubt!!! Besides, anyone that would seriously consider throwing down $25k to rent it for a day probably has the money to buy one outright.

It takes more than money to buy one. Availability is quite limited. Besides, not everyone wants to own one all the time -- they just want the experience. It's like people who pay a small (or large) fortune to fly into space; they could become astronauts and do it all the time but have unrelated life experiences on their horizon.

oh yeahhh.... here's your "limited" availability

If you can afford $25k for one day, then you should be able to afford to just buy one

Exactly what I was thinking.. especially in light of the required deposit on top of that.

For 1500 pounds, I'll gladly take a Ferrari 599 GTB for the day. That is worth it.

This Bug won't be able to take you to 250 unless they give you the "high speed key" with your rental....... like that's gonna happen.

I figured this was a post about a Veyron kit-car. It'd have to be a really good quality kit to be worth $25,000

To the people mentioning "If you had $25,000 to blow on a day then you could just buy one..."
No, you are wrong! $25K is 52 times less then $1.3 million, that's like saying if you can afford to rent a Lambo at $2500 a day, you must have enough to just buy one. Not to mention, like mentioned earlier by BH, you can't just go down to your local Bugatti dealer and pick one up.

so it's only gonna cost me $185K to completely destroy a $1 million car? not a bad deal.. if I can't get it moving to 250 at least I can get it to do some summersaults on a track or hell a nice country road.. at not even half price!

I want to rent one for the day, and then compete in a demolition derby in it for the day(a la Johnny Knoxville) and see the look on their faces when I return it. :)
moneymouth77 11:42AM (6/10/2009)
This must be the most unsafe offer I have ever heard! Enzochi makes the point, if you smash it up it costs you so much less... Go for the world's safest car instead!

I can only begin to imagine what the rental agreement would look like.
"Thank you for renting our prized Bugatti Veyron, you have made a great choice. Now, there are a few legal matters we must discuss. Let's call them the, 1001 things you cannot do with this Veyron:
1. Go Fast
.
.
.
1001. For your safety and legal matters, we will not provide you with the special high speed key.
Enjoy sucker.
