A forum user named "Puttz" at the Temple of VTEC took a picture of a manufacturer-plated CR-V in Dublin, Ohio near Honda's Marysville plant. In addition to a set of wheels that Puttz said were reminiscent of those on an RDX sketch, the grille is bigger and wearing a lot more chrome work. On the left is the spy shot, on the right is the 2009 CR-V. As another forum user noted, the 2-piece center section is somewhat of a return to the previous generation CR-V.

Beyond that, the bumper gets reshaped with a different profile leading into the lower front fascia, and the fog light housings look to be more integrated. If this is the 2010 CR-V, it appears Honda is only making minor changes to its popular cute-ute. Hat tip to Edison

I still can't get over the double-grille it's had for all this time.

The one between the lights? Looks all right.

      The one underneath? Overkill.

I thought this was just about the ugliest car on the market when it came out... and just as I'm getting used to it, they make it (fractionally) uglier!

I personally think the weirdness of the CR-V's compound shapes and character lines works better with a "techier" fascia, versus the simpler '90s-esque grille and softer bumper on the facelifted model. But it's really a very subtle change.

Less ugly but still unattractive. I would liken it to Tori Spelling before and after her boob job.

Holy smack they found a way to make it uglier.

So, what's with the smile on the Mazdas and now this? Oh well, I have no intention of buying a Honda. I don't want to fall asleep from boredome while I drive.

Did Honda get a chin implants or something? Yikes that is ugly. The new Accord, all the new Acura's, now this. Ugly is an understatement for recent new Honda's.

If a bull dog was a SUV.....this would be it.

It seems to have a giant piece of another car shoved onto the front. I haven't seen jowls that ugly since John McCain...

I know one of the cars is uglier than the other, but I can't decide which.

I think they're trying to bland me to death.

That's hideous. It looks like someone punched it in the face and gave it a fat lip. Sheeple will buy it up in droves without even looking at compeditors though.
