So you've got your new electric bicycle and it's great for getting around town with a lot less effort than pure pedal power, but what happens when you want to go on a longer trip like a vacation and you want to take your bike(s) along? Adding a motor and battery to a bicycle adds weight and conventional bicycle racks for your car may not be able to support them.
Thule, maker of all sorts of auxiliary storage systems for cars, has come to the rescue with a new product called the EuroPower e-bike carrier. This hitch-mounted rack can support two bicycles weighing up to 130 pounds. It includes a loading ramp and auxiliary brake lights so people behind you can see when you are slowing down. No word yet on whether the new rack will be offered in North America.

Now they just need a couple of charging ports and inverter so the bikes can be charged on the road from the car and ready to go when you arrive.
