Click above to see and hear the Zenvo ST1 prototype

We only received word as to the existence of the Zenvo ST1 last December – even though the car had apparently been in the works for four years by that time. Now, just four months later, an unpainted prototype is on the road getting ready to hit LeMans this year.

According to Mikkel Thomsager of Danish magazine Bil, the Denmark-assembled 1,104-hp, 233-mph ST1 offers "predictable" handling, and piloting one is "like driving a small hatchback," albeit a stupendously fast one. If nothing else, the Danes sure knew how to make the car's 7.0-liter V8 sound properly mighty. Follow the jump to see a little of the car in action. Hat tip to Carsten and Mattias!

from what i would guess from the few pics of the engine it appears to be, a 7.0l chevy, with whipple 3.4l maybe? and it says its compound boosted (turbos feeding into the whipple) seems like a not to great of a set up to me. Would of made more power with just the turbos, and less stress on the engine

i'm from denmark, and in december i read the articles when this car was announced..

and yes it is indeed a corvette engine (it was chosen coz it was apparently extremely easy to tune (if i recall))

fantastic looking thing.. not so "curved" as most other cars, but not so square like a .. 70's cadillac :p superb sound too!

        extremely limited car though

just read some of it, says its an eaton and a gt47..... although i think the car is awesome its probably going to have terrible heatsoak after racing a few laps with the gt47 feeding the eaton....get rid of the eaton and make more power

I disagree. Lexus LFA with a 458 Italia rear end with a Renventon style body kit. Badass.

Remember that episode of Knight Rider where KITT went into that vat of acid, and they had to rebuild him, and they painted him a light stealthy flat grey? He did all of his tests, and he was meant to be better then the black version of him?

      (That's what I could find)

Well, the grey version never lived up to the black version.

This is the exact polar opposite. This flat grey version was built to be better then the contemporary supercars... instead, it kicks their ass.

      Love live Grey Kitt.

1100bhp and it can't break 240mph? In the video he did say that the top speed was 217mph correct?

Looks like a pissed off R8. I love it.

also noted the steering column (not the steering wheel) is also right out of a C6 Z06, also the center console area looks like a slightly modified version of the Z06's (with a custom head unit it looks like)

Mmmm!!! 7.0L V8? Sounds familiar, but I can't quite tell where it hails from. Oh! wait, that must be the mighty LS7, force fed of course.

Really nice car, A man's car that doesn't need any apologies.
