Our coverage of the 2009 Shanghai Motor Show wrapped up earlier this week, but apparently something was missing. Courtesy of our friends at Autoblog Chinese, we've got two galleries chock-full of Shanghai's finest booth professionals doing way they do best – luring hapless journos and camera-wielding automatons towards the shiny four-wheeled objects rotating on the podium. In respect to the lovely ladies who toil on the show stands, we ask that you keep any uncomplimentary comments to yourself and just enjoy (or ignore) the surroundings in Shanghai.

Did you guys know that Cruze will be bigger than Cobalt, Motor Trend said that it will be one of the largest cars in the segment. Which begs a question, GM already has a perception of making less efficient cars, why make a car EVEN bigger. Because the car is large it will be less efficient than Civic and Corolla.
Cruze can take on current Corolla and Civic, but soon after Cruze we will get new Civic. Cruze will get 40 MPG on Highway, Civic gets 36, the new Civic should get 40+, so MPG advantage will be eliminated. Why can't GM ever do anything normally, Cruze will be within inches of Malibu.

OK, OK, i'll be positive, GM makes bestest cars in the world, Equinox is better than Rav4 or CRV, Cobalt is better than Civic, in fact they should have called Cruze Cobalt, because Cobalt was such an excellent car.

Anywho, I like the cruze but I dislike the odd shaped headlights and the c-pillar is a little to generic to me. So I p'shopped what I think is a much better looking design.
