Fesler-Moss to offer array of custom options for 2010 Camaro
At this point, we haven't seen much more than renderings of aftermarket Camaros, but the list of tuners who will be coming out with their own version of Chevrolet's new muscle car is quickly growing. Scottsdale-based Fesler-Moss is that latest on that list, having announced a fairly extensive catalog of upgrades for the 2010 Camaro. So who is Fesler-Moss? Chris Fesler is the man behind Fesler Built, manufacturer of unique muscle cars and customs, and Jon Moss is the former director of GM's specialty vehicles division. Needless to say, combined, the two men ought to have the credentials and the resources to come up with some pretty cool stuff.
Visually, the Fesler-Moss Camaro gets a hidden-headlamp front end, a reworked rear end, billet spears reminiscent of the 1969 model year, and a molded-in rear spoiler. The best parts, however, are the performance upgrades. Fesler-Moss will drop in an LS7, LS9 or any LSX V8 crate engine, supercharge the existing LS3, upgrade the suspension or brakes, and even convert the transmission to a paddle shift. Hit the jump for a full list of available upgrades, and choose your favorite color combination in the gallery below. Thanks for the tip, JLee!

Not a fan of the billet grill up front. Rear tails are interesting though.

I agree, the front end is *better* than the the hideous chunky black plastic grill on the stock camaro, but I'm not sure I like it. I'd like something cleaner. They definitely fixed the stupid stock taillights though.

au contraire
its tribute to the 67/68 RS/SS, complete with hidden lamps, is what makes it beautiful.

Nothing better than Coletti vs Moss. Boss vs ZL-1 in the 90s. Loved that challenge.

Camaro is not a muscle car, it is a Pony car! True story.
BoxerFanatic 3:58PM (4/22/2009)
That only applied when there were BIGGER muscle cars also in the Chevy lineup.
As in pony, compared to horse.
Chevelle is gone. Torino is gone. Charger is now a 4-door. Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger respectively, are the ONLY cars of their type, per brand.
And some of them weigh about 2 tons, and are plenty BIG, physically. Mustang might have a slight reduction in size, compared to the other two, but it is hardly as lithe as a 65/66, or a Fox body, which were modest size cars.
The pony cars have grown into full sized horses over the last 40 years. They are Muscle Cars.

Now why didn't it come like this from the factory? damn...

i was just gonna say, how long before Firebird body kits start appearing?
not bad with the photoshop. i would have kept the 2 horizontal tail strips and just nixed the chrome accents and pinched the grille division at the bottom mirroring the logo. just my 2 cents

@Taglane
Not bad... but it would be amazing if someone made a rounder rear glass and slightly sharper (as in spear) front end. I wonder how much a kit like that would cost? Probably wouldn't be worth it...
thomas 4:13PM (4/22/2009)
@ serge, backlight (rear window) would definitely be a lot. thats not a typical aftermarket piece..... it would require a new truck lid as well as probably some new mounting hardware.
as for the front end, its appears that everything ahead of the hood cut line is one piece and so a new fascia would just replace the stock piece covering all the bumper stuff underneath and is totally do-able
Taglane 4:16PM (4/22/2009)
I agree, Thomas. I think Chevy should re-use as many components as possible f they made a Firebird/TA.
Probably one of the few rebadges I'd support ;)

I'm liking the grill and hidden headlamps!

Everyone is talking up the Genesis Coupe as the new 'tuner' fav. but in my opinion it's the Camaro.

Hideaway headlights would a cool addition to a relatively stock car. Add a hockey stick or bumble bee stripe and it would like the 60s all over again.
Quick question: they talk about adding paddle shifters. is this to the models get the 4L65? I was under the impression that the current six speed autos already had paddle shifters.

I read somewhere that hideaway headlights were illegal on new cars. But i don't know much about the subject.

Love the hideaway headlights, but not a fan of the billet look. The back is beautiful though.
