Nissan doesn't have an official presence at the New York Auto Show this year, but that doesn't mean the automaker is completely absent from the festivities. Even without an stand, the automaker still needs to show of its wares and that's exactly what's happening at tent near Rockefeller plaza this evening. We already got the details on the new 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster and NISMO 370Z earlier this afternoon, so now we present you with a selection of live photos for your view enjoyment.

The roadster looks great. I was expecting it to look than the coupe, and it doesn't disappoint.
But talk about some piss-poor photography. That's the best you guys got? Not one straight on profile shot from standing height. You know, a perspective that you'd actually see the car from in the real world, not dragging your face along the ground looking up at a front headlight.

You think so? I think it's wayyyy too over-designed and goofy looking.

I love the Nismo Z.

Me too. I hate how the exhaust looked with the regular 370Z, but the new rear bumper on this one looks much more streamline and sportier.

Wasn't a big fan of the 350Z roadster, but this new one is great!

For the roadster, the only criticism I have is what's up with the cheapy looking antenna on the trunk?
As for the Nismo, I really like the front, but not too too crazy for the spoiler.

I wonder if those body add-ons on the NISMO actually do anything. Nissan said they did on the last NISMO Z, but that rear spoiler looks decorative. Plus, when I read an article on the Viper SRT-10 ACR, it said the front splitter had to be taken off to be street legal, and the NISMO Z looks to have a front splitter. Will that have to be taken off to be street legal?

its not a splitter, its a lip. the acr splitter is too low and sharp enough to chop the feet off a pedestrian so its illegal.

Nismo Z has probably the nicest factory body kit I have ever seen. I want one to park in my living room just to look at.

Agreed, that Nismo body kit looks great, except for the wing.

Would love to see a photo of the Roadster with the top up if possible. How about it, Autoblog?

Yep... definitely better looking than the old one. Thanks Sam.

If it wasn't for that "Hello Kitty" back end this would look awesome. I am curious to see what it looks like with the top up, because as with most convertibles, that is were any good design fails.

I was one of those who thought that the last-gen Z was ugly, especially in roadster guise. And I rather like the looks of the new generation coupe. So I was particularly curious about the new roadster.
However, from these pics, the new Z roadster looks SO MUCH BETTER! Nicely done, Nissan!

Why..o..why do these huge antennas keep being put on cars?!?! Its 2009!! Design something not noticeable. It kills the back end for me
