2009 Nissan NISMO 370Z - Click above for a high-res gallery

Nissan doesn't have an official presence at the New York Auto Show this year, but that doesn't mean the automaker is completely absent from the festivities. Even without an stand, the automaker still needs to show of its wares and that's exactly what's happening at tent near Rockefeller plaza this evening. We already got the details on the new 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster and NISMO 370Z earlier this afternoon, so now we present you with a selection of live photos for your view enjoyment.

My '04 Volvo S60 doesn't have a visible antenna at all. It's got some "diversity antenna" thing buried in the rear bumper - I'm sure they could've done the same on this car and eliminated that goofy trunk lid ting altogether.

That said, both of these cars look fan-freakin'-tastic.

I was one of those who thought that the last-gen Z was ugly, especially in roadster guise. And I rather like the looks of the new generation coupe. So I was particularly curious about the new roadster.

However, from these pics, the new Z roadster looks SO MUCH BETTER! Nicely done, Nissan!

I wonder if those body add-ons on the NISMO actually do anything. Nissan said they did on the last NISMO Z, but that rear spoiler looks decorative. Plus, when I read an article on the Viper SRT-10 ACR, it said the front splitter had to be taken off to be street legal, and the NISMO Z looks to have a front splitter. Will that have to be taken off to be street legal?

its not a splitter, its a lip. the acr splitter is too low and sharp enough to chop the feet off a pedestrian so its illegal.

Would love to see a photo of the Roadster with the top up if possible. How about it, Autoblog?

      I owned a 350z roadster a while back.

This thing looks like a Veilside kit with that front lip and spoiler!

It screams Veilside to me.. maybe I'm just out of the loop on styling though.

Honestly I hope they fixed the following:

      1. Heated Seat button was on the center console right where someone would rest their arm. Sometimes I would find my arse sweating in 90+ degree temps with AC on because I accidentally pushed it.
      2. Midrange torque/hp. I know the new one has more hp, but I'm hoping it not all above 5000rpm. I would have liked a little more hp from 2750 - 5000rpm.
      3. A little lighter vehicle. (z4 is 520lbs lighter than 350 roadster)
      4. More storage space (the Z4 has more than DOUBLE storage space in the trunk). I bet NON-owners don't know this fact. Z4 - 8.5cubic ft vs 350z - 4.1cubic ft. 350z Fits a golf bag and NOTHING else. Not a single other carry on option.
I know the runflats account for most of the space but still.
      5. Steering wheel mounted audio controls - which they fixed I believe in 2006 (i had a 2004 touring version).

They were my specific qualms about it in no particular order and hopefully if they have addressed those issues, I will once again purchase a Z roadster!

      I love the Nismo Z.
Me too. I hate how the exhaust looked with the regular 370Z, but the new rear bumper on this one looks much more streamline and sportier.
Looks better then the BMW Z4 thats for sure.

I like the nismo 350z better than this one. The backs ok minus the spoiler but that front end looks weak. The lip looks like it doesn't really look like it belongs on that car.Plus, why not put the Nismo intake on the car for the price I know they're gonna give it. Overall B+

For the roadster, the only criticism I have is what's up with the cheapy looking antenna on the trunk?

As for the Nismo, I really like the front, but not too too crazy for the spoiler.

Wasn't a big fan of the 350Z roadster, but this new one is great!

Ugh...Fast and the Furious body kit. Not good at all...Just as I was starting to hate the gimmicky lights less.
