Stefan Eriksson reportedly back behind bars - in his Swedish homeland

Stefan Eriksson came to dubious notoriety after halving a Ferrari Enzo in California back in 2006. That spectacular wreck, which Eriksson initially credited to a mysterious individual named "Dietrich," eventually led to the former tech executive getting booted out of the United States after a short prison junket.

Back in his native Sweden, the supercar-slicer is evidently doing no better. According to The Los Angeles Times, Eriksson now finds himself in an Uppsala jail after being charged with seven infractions, including theft, attempted extortion and aggravated assault.

Doesn't sound like Eriksson's fortunes are going any better post EnzoGate than Eriksson's Gizmondo... or that Enzo. Thanks for the tip, Jamie.
