Spy Shots: 2010 Audi RS5 spied one more time at the 'Ring

The 2010 Audi RS5 has reappeared at the Nurburgring and these newest images give us the best glimpse yet of the production version of the 500 hp coupe. The standard RS fascia we've seen before is still present, but it's joined by a beefier rear bumper, RS-specific dual oval exhaust outlets and slightly flared fenders. The brakes have grown in proportion to the wheels, filling the inside of the 20-inch lightweight rollers with a minimal amount of clearance, while inside, a set of aftermarket Recaros have been fitted for prototype duty.
Details on the RS5's powertrain are still unknown, but after a spy video surfaced last year, the accompanying soundtrack hinted at a V10 powerplant. We suspect Audi will adapt the RS6's twin-turbocharged, 580 hp 5.2-liter V10 for duty in the RS5, although it's likely to be de-tuned for the coupe. If we were a betting blog, we'd wager the 2010 Audi RS5 is due to be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

I completely agree, I also thought it sounded like a V8 in the spy video. The high revving, 100bhp/liter RS4 kind. Makes more sense size and power wise as well.

The A5 is a 2 door A4. The 6 series is a 2 door 5 series.
So it will be cheaper than a M6

RS6 is $120,000 USD
So given the S5 is $50k and the RS model will cost more and the RS6 is more than double the cost of the S5.. I'd adjust the RS5 to be $85-$90k.

Why? For the price of a 6 series you can have a biger, nicer, better looking luxury coupe that will spank the doors off of it.
Also, this is definately a V-8... it sounds nothing like Audi's V10. From what I have heard, the powerplant will be a bi-turbo 4.2 liter V8....

Why doesn't the G37 make a high performance model to compete with M3, RS, and AMG? I think it would sell, If Cadillac can pull off a V, infinity could do it.
