Craig Bramscher has confirmed via Twitter and Facebook that Brammo Motorsports will take part in the upcoming zero emissions motorcycle race scheduled to take place as the Isle of Man in June called the TTXGP. The Brammo Enertia is a fully electric motorcycle that uses lithium phosphate batteries and lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon fiber to eke out speeds of around 50 miles per hour and a range of about 45 miles.

Other competitors at the inaugural running of the TTXGP wll include the EV-0 RR from Evo Design Solutions, the TTX01 electric motorcycle (EDIT: The TTX01 will not be taking part in the race) and the Mission One electric superbike that debuted last month. Those last three electric machines were built specifically with speed in mind and would surely cost well over the Brammo Enertia's $11,995 cost. With that in mind, we look forward to seeing how well the Enertia can run with its high-spec competition. Click on past the break for a video announcing the bike's participation. Thanks for the tip, John!
