Google Street View catches flock of Ferraris in natural habitat

Click the above image for a closer look at the assembled Ferraris
Man, the Google Street View Driver got an eyeful the day he drove by this Maranello Moment. And he captured it all for posterity (and Google Maps) to boot. The gaggle of F430 Scuderias and 360 Challenge Stradales is impressive enough. Throw in the five F40s, three Enzos and a lone F50, and you have yourself a proper stampede of prancing horses. The Street View photos do two things. First, they reinforce our belief that the F40 is infinitely cooler than both its hyper-exotic successors. Second, they have us thinking that on this particular day, Rome's Piazza Santiago del Cile was probably the best-sounding place on planet Earth. Thanks for the tip, Bennayd!

For he was a good God, and granted the world the ability to hear his thunderous voice for but one day in Italy.

I wish that were my habitat.
Side note: Why does Italy have Streetview and Canada still doesn't? Is it because of some sort of privacy law we have, or is it just the typical situation where we're not important enough?

Re: Canada
Italy has twice the population, higher broadband penetration and, crucially, more cities and streets with features people would like to look at while surfing the weird and wonderful world of world wide web.
Why on earth would anybody look at the flock of hockey players in their natural habitat?
P.S. I do write this from Canada, deeply sad after yesterday's Montreal vs New Jersey match, but I'm not Canadian.

Sounds like you're projecting your envy onto New York City.

Don't worry, I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and it's still not in my town (though we seem to be the minority, not sure why)

What envy? I'm stating obvious. People flock to Italy's towns to see 3000 years of history. There's not much history to see in Ottawa, is there....

Kitko-

I think you probably meant no harm but the difference still depends on whom you ask. Some visitors to Italy are stumbling round those 3000-year-old streets looking for a fast-food lunch. And there's not much history to see in Ottawa? One of those nation's population densities warrants Google Streetview service, and the other's, well, not yet. That's still no reason to descend to tired stereotypes. A flock of hockey players? Really? Because you knew Canada's national sport is lacrosse.
why not the LS2LS7? 11:41PM (3/15/2009)
Paris has streetview and London doesn't. Despite Google having a lot of trouble licensing maps for France.
I guess it is due to laws in different countries.

I'd like to see those numbers because from what I've found Canada has a much higher broadband penetration % compared to Italy.
However, I do agree with your argument that there is more to see in Italy.
