More Lambo shoes: Reventon sneakers!

Tim Cooper came up with a hideous set of pumps inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo. Now, a French designer at Subaru in Japan has come up with sneakers that pull their inspiration from the Lamborghini Reventon. They're a little blunt at the front, but otherwise -- and as one might expect -- they're sleek, angular, olive drab, and boast a healthy dose of carbon fiber trim. Check out that trick suspended heel, too. We're not likely to ever see a production version, but if Lamborghini did decide to offer them, we'd take these kicks over the Lamborghini cologne any day.

Yeah, but that does not say much. Jordan's are crap.

I usually hate this sort of thing, but this is really a great design, even an older fart like me might wear them...

So will these shoes set you back $1000 or more?

i'd wear them. i bet that heel would make running less stressful on your feet and leg tendons, springing up with each stride.

You know when I see a shoe that is designed after a car, I would expect it to be used for driving. I see your point on running with that heel, but pivoting your foot wood not work.
I would never buy these just because of the heel.

and you know over time it would slowly keep a curve to it, so it would curve up off the ground when you where standing flat. Like the old nike shocks used to do before they make the back shocks solid.

Are they only making 20 of these too?

I'd buy a pair... if they were reasonable, and by that I mean less than 200-300 dollars.
That term is applied very loosely - I normally buy cheapo 40 dollar sneakers and am happy with them, but I'd probably splurge on the reventon sneakers - it's the closest thing I'd ever get to a reventon anyway.

Will they follow the Reventon formula though? Take regular $99 Nike, change shoe laces and add a new heel and sell them at $100,000 premium.
